The Sims 3 / Pudding Requests / Can anyone please shorten this dress?
|
on: June 27, 2010, 06:01:27 pm
|
So there's this fabulous dress from the Sims 3 store that I downloaded but never use because I find it slightly too long for my taste. I don't know if it's a complicated thing to do or not, but what I'm looking for is to just get it shortened a little bit, so that it ends immediately above the knee instead of underneath the knee. Anyone think they can do that?

The Sims 3 / Pudding Requests / Re: -> A mod that changes money a new sim family gets?

Oh, that would be great! I wasn't expecting this thread to become a request which is why I didn't put it in the request section. But now that it has, if I can still move it there I'd be happy to do so if anyone could tell me how exactly that's done... Anyway; thanks a lot for bothering! It'll really make playing more enjoyable!

I had a look around and, except for TheNinthWave's mod, I just keep getting cheat codes and starter houses for google searches like "sims 3 starter budget mod" "sims 3 default money mod" "sims 3 family budget hack" and searches like that...
A million is definitely too much for me. I was barely hoping for a mod that'd set the starter budget to 20.000, or a maximum of 30.000. Just enough for my sims to be able to actually save some money without having to live in a box with a bed, a fridge and a toilet. -_-

The Sims 3 / Pudding Requests / -> A mod that changes money a new sim family gets?

Ever since The Sims 3 has come out and I first played it, I've always thought that 16000 simoleons to start a sim-life is just ridiculous: I have to play on epic life span to be able to save a decent amount of money without my sims dying of old age in the process, just because I'm constantly spending money on repairmen, on bills, on food... I know I can kaching my way around it and all, but I don't want to have to cheat everytime I decide it's time to play with a new sim. And I don't want my sims to have a gigantic starter budget either; just a decent one like the 20000 simoleons in The Sims 2... I've looked around, checked mod the sims, checked the sim wiki but I was unable to find a mod that changes the starter budget in the sims 3. Has one been made yet?

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / A question about re-installing games.
|
on: September 01, 2008, 05:30:56 pm
|
I am about to re-install all my Sims games(Base game & expansion) on a computer where they have never been instaled before. Do I need to update and patch EVERY game or do the expansions automatically fix bugs of previous games? They question is probably a bit silly, but I really don't feel like pacthing ALL of them... :smt120

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Lots not installing correctly with the Clean Installer!
|
on: July 13, 2008, 01:51:07 pm
|
Recently I've been having this weird problem: when I install a lot and then enter it, there are no custom walls, floors or pieces of furniture at all! But I am sure that Clean Installer must install at least SOMETHING since in my special "lots" folder I had more than a gig of CC(a lot of it had names like "c76hdisdhw8d", is that normal?) for about 60 lots I had just installed(I used to have them before but since I had to reinstall my game I had to reinstall the lots as well). When I search for the walls or the floors I saw on the screenshots though I can't find anything in build mode. I have no problems when I install Sims or walls/floors with the Clean Installer though. Those work perfectly. Custom Content is enabled and I encounter no other problems with the game. What is wrong?

This is a really beautiful house but I must have downloaded it at least seven times and it keeps on telling me the file is corrupt. Can anyone upload this to some other site like rapidshare? I have tried both links but I keep getting that corrupt message with both links.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / "Requires" Numenor's Unleveled Wall - really?
|
on: July 10, 2008, 06:13:28 pm
|
I have a question about Numenor's Unlevel Wall hack/thing/whatever. As you might know it is said to be somewhat unstable so since I'm not a builder I decided not to install it. But sometimes when I download lots I see that it says that unlevel walls is required. I'm just wondering why it would be since I'm not going to build/change the lot. Could it be that the lot still works as long as I don't do anything build mode related? And what happens if I try to install and load a lot that is said to "require" it without actually having installed it? Will my computer explode? I'm a bit afraid of finding out myself so I thought I could ask here, see if someone knows more about it.

I have the exact same problem wit the exact same graphics card. I haven't installed the "bad" maxis patch. Would it solve it or should I just not touch it at all and delete it? And also, has no solution for this be found yet? Help is appreciated!
