You sound very frustrated. I guess the only possible solution would be roll back on your patches, or learn to develop mods. The previous suggestion is obviously more practical, as this isn't the type of request that is normally fulfilled....
I myself have a limited understanding of Sims 3's coding architecture, and therefore could not do you much good...

Hi Guys We wanted to keep you informed about the upcoming pricing that has been announced for Sims 3 World Adventures EP. News has now leaked out that the price for the EP has gone up by $10 (US and Australian) and 10 pounds (UK). EA is justifying this price increase by including $10 worth of SimPoints for the Sims 3 Store with the EP. In the current finacial situation, this increase is unfair to people who don't want to use the store and those suffering the effects of the global financial crisis. A gamer magazine (can't remember which, but you can google it online) stated that EA lost a sizable amount of profit with the release of this Base Game, it wasn't quite the blockbuster CEOs had anticipated. $10 x 1.5 million copies should help make up for that. And I'm sure the whole "10 bucks worth of Sim Points" will be written in fine print in some arbitrary corner of the box.... |

No im not english speaker jasumi , i apolagise for my bad english i do my best heh  Your right about something missing from the game though i get that feeling myself . Personaly i think the work the awsome mod guys have done is slowly getting there . Never realised just how bad the coding was till i read the forums over there . such a shame the ISM has been given up by binky and lemmy but understandable why but anyway since the game was released im much more optamistic now  I'm not a native English speaker, either.  If you keep practicing you'll get better. As CaffeinatedJoy said, remember to capitalize the beginning of your sentences and the letter "I." |

ok update time i guess . i have now been useing awsome mod and some other CC i have found on various sites . Man does it make a huge difference to the game
Like i said or at least thought i did in my 1st post . the modders in the sim's community are the best iv ever seen . They work there butt's off trying to fix this game and they have already made a HUGE !!! difference . I can only bow in respect to you all keep up the fantastic work
The original idea for me starting this thread was that i got tired of reading all the bashing . So i was trying to to start one with a more posative look at what has been done so far by the modders
And yes my spelling is bad sorry
Are you still half asleep? If you're not a native English speaker, then it can't be helped though. I think the mods have improved the game. It still needs alot of work though. But I think there are a few very key gameplay elements that would make it more enjoyable that are missing. |

So, maybe with Sims3, it is a "sell and scramble and then pray to the CC gods for salvation" scenario?  That seems to be the case. But having low expectations for the game helps, because if it surpasses them then you might like it lol Just don't expect much, or you will be disappointed. And lol TRU was extremely buggy. I still liked it though.... |

I have stopped visiting this section of the board. Its seems this shouldnt be called "sims 3 buzz" forum but rather sims 3 bashing forum. I am amoung the ones who thought sims 2 needed alot of CC mods and hacks to make it amazing and things are being built to do something similar with 3. I love the sims community and I am excited about the future of the game. As for them being "ugly" thats not so. It all in the hands of the creator. It def takes more time tyo make someone beautiful, but it can be done. Slep in some different skins and eyes, cute clothes, and take about an hour to sculpt him / her. I made a very pretty pair of twins, one goth one wholesome (pics in the sims3 picture wommens thread) I like the game. If you dont, good for you. We get it. Stop bashing it. Can we get another forum on this board for sims3? One called buzz for the lovers and one called bashing for the haters?  Are you going to reimburse me for the money I wasted on Sims 3? If not, I will vent my frustration through this free board. |
