Retired Creators / Male / SlimBB Turtleneck Sweaters (Striped) --New Mesh--

This is in compliment to the other thread, where the Knitted recolors (and mesh) are located. I couldn't upload both the Stripes and Knits in the same post. There are 11 recolors, 6 knit (the other thread) and 5 striped (this thread), using Maxis textures for both the sweater and the jeans. The mesh uses exportdry's "bigger boots" which I have received permission to use...thanks to both Exportdry and HystericalParoxysm! The outfit is bump map enabled. Oh, they are categorized in both Everyday and Outerwear, so I do not know what that means in regards to those who do not have Seasons. I want to say that it doesn't matter, and if you happen to have Seasons, then it'll also show up under Outerwear. Then again, I don't know for sure. Note: This thread is just for the Striped recolors and mesh. There is another thread for the Knitted-looking recolors and mesh here: http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,100385.0.html. Thanks to Marvine for granting me permission to release this. ::::You can include the mesh with recolors, but give credit and link back. You can also include this with sims. It is best to avoid paysites with this, because that is just not cool. ::::Please, I beg people to recolor this mesh. I tend to suck at it...uh...prime examples above. I had to split up the recolors, because I couldn't attach all the files in one posting, so please go to the other thread for Knitted recolors if you want them. Note: This is the same mesh that the Knit recolors use. Credits: Marvine Exportdry HystericalParoxysm

I really don't know what to say in description of this, except for the fact that I created a turtleneck mesh for the Slimmer Bodybuilder. The SlimBB is one of my favorite body types, and I wanted my sim men to have a turtleneck for the winter season. I have included 11 recolors, 6 knit (this thread) and 5 striped (the other thread), using Maxis textures for both the sweater and the jeans. The mesh uses exportdry's "bigger boots" which I have received permission to use...thanks to both Exportdry and HystericalParoxysm! The outfit is bump map enabled. Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Geneticizing skintones
|
on: April 04, 2008, 03:44:59 pm
|
The geneticized skintones are an addition in the way they're added to pool of possible genetics. They don't show up in the little boxes like the defaults do, but your children can still be born with a geneticized skintone, within the range of the two parent's skintones.
The geneticized skintones are set with a value, like E'Claire said. Any defaults you put in your game have a value, e.g. .75....well, the geneticized ones stay in the custom area of the skins, but also have a value in between the maxis numbers.
Regular custom skins don't have values.
Hmmm, I went for a simpler explanation, yet seems just as confusing.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Accessories / Slippers (SAU) - Three recolors
|

These are three recolors of the Sims Artist Union Pooh slippers. Why just have Pooh, when you can have others too? The three colors include... Scooby Doo [/B] You need THIS mesh for these to show up in your game. These are for Male and Females Child~Elder. They show up in the Accessories section. Enjoy! And, don't say you made 'em, or some other silly notion.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Men / Recolors of the SAU Hightop Hoodie (Set of 8)
|
on: March 16, 2008, 05:41:09 am
|
I don't know if you noticed, but the Sims Artist Union made a really cool mesh with sweet shoes and a hoodie. Personally, I think you can never have too many hoodies. Anyway, I have eight recolors of the mesh from SAU. There could have been more, but I ran out of design ideas. All but one outfit uses the awesome jean texture made by Tenshii. I wasn't actually feeling a few of these, but to my surprise they looked a ton better in the game. Sorry for the plain pictures. Pack 1 Pack 2 Note: These will show up in Everyday/Athletic/Outerwear (if you have Seasons), except for one, I think. Oh, and the necklace in the pictures is not part of the clothing. You need THIS mesh for these to work in your game.Enjoy! I hope you like 'em. Don't claim as your own, or any other silly stuff.
**You can include this recolor if you upload a sim. I don't mind as long as you give credit. *** EDIT by Tenshii~Akari: For those of you still looking for a temporary download for the particular SAU mesh in question, and their policies have since changed to allow sharing of their meshes, it has been uploaded to Mediafire for the time being:
