I entered the game one day and found that Pleasantview had completely disappeared from the game, as if I had deleted it entirely.
 
However I didn't.
 
I checked the EA folder and the data for the town is still there, it's as if the sims just can't find it. Is there any way to make it reappear?

I was going to create my self sim to use for the sims world 3 contest, but since the CPU on my computer died, I wasn't able to use my good computer, so the graphics weren't up to par So, why just leave me in my game?!
 
Anyway, here I am. I don't wear makeup, so that's why there isn't anything on her but eyelashes. She is packaged with maxis clothing.... but I love the clothing from All About Sims, if you want a suggestion.

Many time when I try to upload things (like a sims2pack) they won't upload because they are "invalid". I've tried putting them into my own game and they do work, so I don't see the problem. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Another quick but unrelated to my last post question.
 
I've been playing the sims for a long time and my computer has always been fantastic at playing with high graphic capabilities, but these days it seems like I enter the game and everything goes from "high" graphics to the "medium, can-only-tell-if-you-get-really-close" graphics in only a few seconds. And this is happening on a lot with no CC! I just got seasons so that might be part of it...
 
It's just annoying when doing contest entries to enter and exit the lot again and again when the graphics move to "medium". Do I need a new video card or what?

Just a quick Q which I'm sure someone has asked before...
 
everytime I have a child now-a-days, it seems as though they are ALWAYS male! I've tried exiting the house and redoing the birth to get a girl and I've also had the father initiating the wohoo (in case it is chosen that way, which it probably isn't)
 
I'm wondering if there is hack interference or if this is just natural. I'm so tired of boys!

Is there anyway that I can get the music from the sims 2? There is a package in the folder of which I am aware but I'm not sure how to get it out of there! :badpoker:
 
There are CDs out aren't there? I just really want the College Rock music from Pets
