31  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Can't use computer to find a job on: May 31, 2008, 12:52:18 am
Yes I have and the same thing happened.
32  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Can't use computer to find a job on: May 31, 2008, 12:41:45 am
I tried to get my sim to use the computer to get a job, when she sits at the computer and does a job search and it's time for the jobs to pop up, she pops behind the computer chair. I used the clean installer to see if one of my hacks or careers I downloaded was the problem but when I tested them she smoothly did the job search, so now I don't know what the problem could be. Can anyone help with this issue? I have uni and nightlife if that helps. My inseminator and inteen are working just fine and she can find a job in the newspaper with no problem.
33  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Sims 2 Exchange Question on: May 19, 2008, 09:53:25 pm
Everything I have gotten from there has crashed my game, so I don't go there anymore.
34  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What have you done with your default sims? on: May 19, 2008, 01:41:12 am
I just recently redownloaded my sims game and being here has given me some wonderful ideas, but I would like to know, how do you resurrect Darlene Dreamer and the others, that would be cool to do. I do have insim and I have uni and nightlife.
35  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Downloaded sims on: April 27, 2008, 04:51:40 pm
I just got a brainstorm (watch out that could be dangerous) what if I take out the download folder, make a new one and put the items into it X amount of files at a time? I know it's going to require a lot of starting and stopping but I think that will be better than losing all of my files. What do you think?

They were the sims2pack, I used the clean installer to open and put them in the game.
37  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Downloaded sims on: April 27, 2008, 12:03:10 pm
I downloaded some ready made sims in my game about a week ago. I went to body shop to use them and my game crashed, I was told to go to my downloads folder and find the name of the sims I downloaded and delete them, but when I tried that, there are no names for the sims, so now what do I do? Should I just delete body shop all together or is there something else I can do without having to get rid of the whole game and lose all of my downloads? Or could I just go as far as I can and use what I have before I downloaded that other stuff.

39  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I want them back on: April 08, 2008, 10:36:07 pm
Yes I do need to back up my game as I haven't done it in quite a while. Thank you for your help but I think it will be better to leave it alone and play on my other account for a while.
40  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I want them back on: April 08, 2008, 05:40:12 pm
I lost all of my original sim families and some of them I remade myself, but I would like to have all of my original families and their homes back, I was told that I could reset my neighborhood to get them all back but if I do this won't I lose all of the families in my neighborhood?
I have some fantastic sims in my game and I certainly don't want to lose them so, is there a way that I can get all of my original families back without losing my other sims and houses:smt120?
41  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Small or large houses? on: March 26, 2008, 06:54:44 pm
I prefer small houses, I just think they're cuter and I can see all of the action and I don't play with too many kids in my game, once they become teens, I move them into their own places.
42  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / is anyone finding MTS2 unusable? on: March 25, 2008, 06:20:23 pm
Quite a few of the houses I downloaded there crashed my game.
43  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What is the most surprising thing that your Sims have ever done? on: March 25, 2008, 04:04:20 pm
I made a sim and his body was all messed up, when he went to take a shower, he had no body. I killed him off so that I could remake him and still keep the house and furnishings, well the grim reaper showed up and after he died, the grim reaper sat on the couch and started watching tv! I couldn't get him to leave so that I could get out of the house to start my sim over, I just thought that was the funniest thing I had ever seen a sim do. I also love when the ghosts appear and jump into my lamps and stuff.
44  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / boolprop question on: March 19, 2008, 07:45:44 pm
Thank you so much for the advice and the link. I have been a good girl and I have been remembering to turn it off when I'm done, but today I played without it at all and just used the inseminator when my sims needed a motive boost.
45  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Boolprop question on: March 18, 2008, 11:39:59 pm
Sorry, I put this in the wrong place earlier.

I have been told that it is ok to leave boolprop on when I log off and I have been told that leaving boolprop on when logging off is a big no no, I have a bad habit of forgetting to turn it off when I log off. Lately though I have been playing my game without it at all, it's on for when my sims need a little help in some areas but I don't really use it since I have the inseminator. So should I leave it on or turn it off when Im done playing?
