Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / WCIF pretty necklaces?
|
on: December 17, 2009, 09:54:16 pm
|
I am looking for some simple, high-quality necklaces for females. Not a goth/dark theme, not huge or elaborate. Just something pretty and simple, preferably silver-based as opposed to gold.
It's for one of my sims, and it's supposed to look like it came from her boyfriend, but they're not into the super-valentiney stuff.
I've searched MTS2, TSR, All About Style, Insim, Garden of Shadows, Liana Sims 2, and Club Crimsyn.
Thanks if you can help!

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Women / Never Too Late - 6 To Write Love On Her Arms Shirts with Club Crimsyn Textures
|
on: November 16, 2009, 07:25:08 pm
|
Today I bring 6 long-sleeved tees featuring a design from the organization To Write Love On Her Arms. TWLOHA is a group of people dedicated to helping people who struggle with depression, addiction, and self-injury, and they make a large portion of their profits from T-shirt sales. Visit TWLOHA's site!TWLOHA has a lot more designs than the one I chose to make for The Sims 2, but this is my favorite. The shirts are unisex, 3 for each gender. The black ones only come in long sleeves, and the white ones come in both long sleeves and pushed sleeves. Textures are not mine - they are stolen borrowed from the super-talented Aikea and Gelydh at Club Crimsyn  . On the front, they say "Love Is the Movement," and on the back corner they say, "To Write Love On Her Arms." MESH IS NOT INCLUDED - GET IT HERE: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=228762ENJOY!

A Safe Haven / General Discussion / Recommendations of Online Games (not sims)!!
|
on: August 18, 2009, 04:53:45 pm

I'm running out of games to play online!! I like adventure/escape/point-and-click/detecti… games. Not too much shooting, nothing that requires fast reflexes or video game skill. Just good old-fashioned brain power. And a good storyline is always a major plus!! PS: Scary is good, but not TOO scary. I don't want anything jumping out at me, and if it will, I want a warning. Here's a list of my favorites: Trapped series (rabbittell.com) Jack French series (JohnnyBDesign.com) Detective Grimoire (Super Flash Bros) Afro-Ninja escape series Ghostscape Nick Bounty series High School Detective Being One Monster Basement (Godlimations) Covert Front Shift series If anyone has recommendations of more games I could play based on these, that would be great

Welcome to insimenator.org / Issues & Suggestions / General website issue: is making an appeal possible?
|
on: August 10, 2009, 03:41:19 pm
|
This question actually isn't technically about Insim itself, but about a similar site. I can't post on that site, so I figured this would be an appropriate place to ask my question:
If you are banned from a site, and you 1. don't know why and would like to know, and 2. feel that your being banned was possibly a mistake, is there anything you can do to contact the administrator and appeal for a lighter punishment? For instance, if you were banned for not much reason, could you ask if you could have your sentence shortened to maybe 1 week instead of 3?
Thanks to anyone that can help, and please, no rude comments about the kind of people that get banned from websites. I just would like an answer.

The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: look at the game this way
|
on: July 31, 2009, 11:57:49 pm

Now I still can't figure out what in the Hell people like about this game. I've played it for like 40 minutes, and throughout that period I felt I was forcing myself to enjoy it. The gameplay camera is probably the worst aspect of the gameplay. It is awful. Then we have the rabbit holes and lack of a customizable neighborhood. And people still find this game fun to play?
Sims 3 deserves a D from me (not an F because the seamless neighborhood is one improvement). Barely passing.
People like you make me even more proud and confident in my decision to keep playing Sims 2 until (read: IF) enough CC/Mods/Improvements are made on the game to make it worthwhile.

Resident Creators / Mod Requests / Death By Bubble Blower mod request
|
on: July 31, 2009, 01:47:38 pm

I think it would be funny if sims using the bubble blower from Uni for a certain amount of time (say 5 hours) had a certain percent (maybe 20%) chance of randomly dying. My latest EP is Bon Voyage (EP6, i think), and I have all leading up to that except OFB (EP3).
