61  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Pictures / Re: Post your favorite Sim kids, toddlers or babies on: December 24, 2007, 05:55:51 pm
Wonderful pictures everyone-just love the cute faces and some of the prettiest eyes too. The babies are just adorable.  Everyone doing the hair they all look wonderful!

I have one little boy right now that I absolutely adore-he's in a household with his 2 sisters and brother but I swear he is always smiling. Even when the other kids don't he does. I've had other households with lots of brothers and sisters but this household the little ones really have distinct personalities-he smiles all the time but his brother never smiles hardly ever while one of his sisters is always in mischief and his favorite sister that he is show with below, Livia is like his partner in crime -she always follows him everywhere
The pictures on these aren't that great but just love this little boy.

His name is lyndon

Pierre, your pictures are great and the baby is adorable
Invader so glad it helped--lol I've been finding way toooo many things for my tots lately and I think Im going to have to sort through what I actually use and what is just neat to have lol

Since I shared so much of Katie and Lucas in this thread here's just a couple of them at the holiday times-their dad just moved in too

Here's my favorite shot of Evie and Lucas

And there was a new bike for the holidays-lol lucas cried everytime katie rode it instead of him

Wow you all do such beautiful rooms and settings. Im still learning on some of the stuff on building and doing the hidden shelves and stuff. Foxybaby, I love the name on the wall-that makes such a nice touch.

I seem to go through phases where sometimes I go real elaborate and detailed on mine and other times more simple. Right now I've been in a smaller house/families on budgets mode so my rooms are kind of simple-helps my game run faster too lol.

Here's one of my favorite families-Evie and her kids. Its a small kitchen but at cozy little one and Evie has managed to set it on fire a couple times already

And here's the nursery in the same house (next to the kitchen)--its simple but I just really like it for this family-bright and cheery.  Each house I do the nursery is always one of my favorite rooms to decorate.

Thanks so much Clcny-they have become my favorite family.  I thought your video was cute. Loved the little angel halo too-made a real festive touch.

Invader, thanks so much too. I think the slide came from TSR and the if you mean the little pink coat, it came from Clcny's site

http://simphany.com/index.html
its under toddler's outwear page 8 I think.  Lol I downloaded every color and in homes where I have lots of little tots especially twins I love to use all the colors.
You also might try if you are looking for some outdoor stuff for playgrounds and outside stuff for tots and kids-not all the links are active anymore but I got some good stuff from them for the little ones to play outside. I have a little play area outside on most of my homes now but on this one the mom is on a budget and could only afford the slide for now-the toddlers are real cute on it when they play and there is a matching swing to it too

Everyone's babies and tots are so adorable. I love seeing what everyone puts on.
I put on some pictures of one of my teen mom families earlier with her daughter Katie.  Now Evie has another baby and Katie now has a little brother.
Here's some of their pictures. I just love how they came out.

Hi InvaderxxZim,
I went to this page and it had tons of links for everything sims and christmas. The clothes links are about half way down. Not all the links are active but I think I ended up over 30 outfits just for my toddlers and children for the holidays (that includes pjs and everyday)--lol I can fit my whole town. There are alot of ones with links for the toddler clothes plus some links for neat accessories/accents too. I got a bit download crazy lol and got way too much but been a nice stress break from reality. Hope you find some you can use.

71  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Adding Older Expansion Packs? on: December 07, 2007, 12:31:59 am
Thanks so much for the help. Lol I  never realized I would get this addicted to playing it.  My family got me hooked on it cause they knew I liked the rpgs on video games and now this.  At the black friday sales they had a ton of good prices on stuff-some of the stores had ones like the holiday stuff pack, celebrations for only $3 for special sales and some deep discounts for some of the others so they ended up getting me some for christmas that I didn't have and I didn't want to mess up my current stuff if at all possible (but can't wait to get my new additions too).  Thanks again.

clcny20--Love your angel!!!! I've been waiting for that one:angel: just love all your stuff!

Foxybaby-I got the link on another thread here-its made in the style of teenstuff for all ages. I don't have teenstuff so you don't have to have it for it to work

73  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Adding Older Expansion Packs? on: December 05, 2007, 09:21:08 pm
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I've only had my sims since the summer but already got so addicted lol. I have the base game, nightlife, pets, open for business, seasons  and stuff packs family & holiday.  For christmas, my family is getting me university, celebrations, and maybe one more of the stuff packs.  I've been organzing my downloads more and trying to weed out some of the stuff I don't use as much and so I have some more space on my computer for when I get those.
My question revolves around getting ready to add those-I wanted university cause its has lots of stuff in it that it always seems like Im missing but since its and older expansion instead of a newer will it mess my others like seasons up? also do you have to reinstall the fixit patch for seasons if you add uni and since its an earlier expansion do I still need to temporarily take out the hacks/mods and then put them back in or since seasons is the latest version I have does it matter? I want to disrupt my stuff as little as possible and am so looking forward to getting some of the packs I don't have

John had just gotten the 2nd floor completed when the new baby came.....and it was just in time cause Saralynn had twins, a boy and a girl!  The new babies, Isaiah and Patience arrived with much fanfare and joy.
Becca had just learned to walk when Emmaline was born and now that she was getting older she could understand about getting a new sister and brother.

As the days passed quickly, the children grew and the family was happy. It was a good life but still a hard one. John and Saralynn made most of their money through their skills and talents but the winter months were always hard. Sometimes the snows made it difficult for them to get their goods into town and some winters were leaner than others.  But always there was love and laughter.  Becca was growing up fast and was now a young girl. She loved her little brother and sisters and was child always smiling and laughing.

Finally the year came where Becca was old enough to start school. John and Saralynn rarely argued but this was something Saralynn was adamant on was Becca and the other children going to a city school instead of being homeschooled.  While John had always lived life on the mountain, Saralynn had been in both worlds. Her mother was a schoolteacher before she married in a mountain family. Saralynn chose to live this life with John but she wanted her children to have the choice to get the best of all worlds

Becca promised to continue her chores at home and help out her mother if only her father would let her go to school with all the other children in the area. She was such an curious child and was fascinated by everything. Her mother was always teaching her about the mountain, the flowers, and all the crafts that she did. Becca was developping into as good a craftswoman as her mother.

John gave in and Becca would begin school this fall....Becca couldn't wait to start school and see what the citylife would be like.....

Chapter 2-the Growing years continued...
The next couple of years passed quickly as the Haggerty family continued to grow.  John and Saralynn had been blessed with their little Becca, followed by Emmaline.

Emmaline was still in diapers when Saralynn was expecting yet again.  At the rate their family was growing, John knew that he would have to expand their little cabin and he began making plans of all that he would do. All through the summer it was a wonder of who was growing up faster the girls or the 2nd story to the little cabin.  John was trying to get it all done before the winter set in and the new baby came.  He wondered what the new baby would be like. He adored his girls. Becca was such a dreamer and little Emmaline was following in her mother's footsteps.  She followed her mother everywhere and wanted to be just like her. John couldn't have been prouder of them.
