This is my first attempt creating a celebrity Sim. Shemar was definitely hard to create. I think it could be better, but if you use it, then enjoy playing with Shemar in your game! Packaged with Maxis clothing. [Pants: Nightlife]

9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Game crash after toddler grows into child? on: March 02, 2008, 12:32:20 pm
The game has been working fine on my PC since 2nd installation. [due to CC not working in BV when I purchased it]
I'm using the "small mansion" lot for the new family I created, [only 3 adults in the house] but every time the toddler grows into a child the game crashes. Does anyone know any fixes or maybe had the same problem and found a solution?

I tried that and it still didn't work. Thank you though.

I ended up uninstalling the game and starting over, completely, with my downloads, and everything is working fine now for some reason. Thank you again for trying to help.

Nope. I haven't deleted the groups.cache, I will try that now.

&& the CC in the catalog... it's gone, except the floors, walls and a FEW custom wall hangings. And I did the show CC, too...

I have loads of files that I wish were working... I have like 1600 .package files... I hate that they aren't working but I don't know what else to do to get them to work... but thanks for the groups.cache tip, hopefully that will work. :smile:

I will let you know if it fixes the problem.

Okay... of course, [just like many others] my CC is gone. With the exception of the custom hair, clothes, etc. but as far as my objects, they are gone... and I've done everything to get it back. But oh well, I'm not uninstalling Bon Voyage, I'd just like to have the cars I had back in the game. So my question is this... does anyone have custom cars [preferably ones that are/look like the ones fresh_prince at MTS2] makes working in BV?
