I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to tell you it is normal. Probably not something EA planned, but it is a glitch all through the game. Most people who make default alien eyes, will make a face mask will them as well.

Thank you, I was miffed that I could not have a matching living room. Now I am miffed that EA did not include the ottoman, so I could make my living room. Thanks for these, I really enjoy the comfy coushyness of my loveseat. I can share that with my sims now.

With all of the AL npc's on this lot it seems like this lot would lag and lag. The large amount of useless space in the middle (not the courtyard, but the area near it) region makes me confused, what is that for? It seems that the spacey-ness is going to contribute to more lag and any sim walking down stairs to go to work, better pack a lunch.

I think you could have improved this lot quite a bit by giving it some landscaping and doing the room layouts first, and letting that define how the outside building looked. I think it would be much more interesting.

Mim's site is quite up to date, she releases the geneticized versions of the skins when she has time to geneticze them. She has up to the Pixie Supernatural set done.

Madame Mim has geneticized all of Enalya's skins, they are available on Genensims.

I have been working on a fantacy neighborhood, these are so perfect. I am looking forward to the more natural skin tones, but I do love these! All of my elves have your decorated skins.

These are so beautiful, and they complete the spectrum of fantacy skins nicely.  I love how Pixie Cold is two toned, it makes frostbite look beautiful.

That is what I did as well! Mine was louder, had a few more swear words.

A fantasy set!?! Just what I had been hoping for, since I have learned how to edit the default alien, I can do my own custom PoliTech.

Now, I am going to have to make a sim that looks snake-like.

[Begin Novel] How about a new fantasy/character sim, who has a new skin & eyes? I have been hoping for newer skins that are more in the fantasy realm, so I can replace my defaults for all of the creatures in the game. I really like the newer line of skins compared to the old, they all have been wonderful however I do think the older skins have more shine than I would like. With your newer sets, I can now have defaults that I really love. If a sim turns into a creature, the skin does not match the line I am using (I use defaults that replace each supernatural skin with one from one of your fantacy collections).[End Novel]

Then of course, they need clothing.... It comes down to this, if you are bored my advice is "make something different from what you have been doing," I am sure I will love it and will overuse it.... :love7:

I really liked that video, I never imaged you could do all that with the game! One question that has been nagging me - There is a "modern" window in one of the buildings. I thought it was from seasons but had had the shudders removed, it looks similar but not quite. It appears to be double panned and four squares high, I will get a screenshot if you like. Thanks for uploading your video, it makes me want to play my steampunk neighborhood again. :happy8:

At More Awesome than You there is a "No chore" mod for Servos.
It is in: the Armory -> No Servo "Do Chores" (about halfway down the page).

They (mine) are still prone to bursts of tiding, but it is not every five min. Sometime they will make a meal if sims on the lot are hungry.

I have realized how much more character I give sims since I started using your skins. It is much easier to give them more dimension when their genetics are more interesting. Thank you for creating such wonderful skins that bring simmies to life, the way [Maxis] EA made them they were little more than paper dolls.
