I'm sure y'all would hate it down here in Texas, especially this year. It never got below 50 degrees this whole winter down here, and I just know this summer's going to be just like last year; Hot as hell, more wildfires, and the continuing of possibly the worst drought we've had since the 1950s. I freakin' hate Texas and it's bipolar weather patterns.

It's been a while from me, but I got my braces taken off on Monday. A great smile that took two and a half years of work was totally worth it! Oh, and I've started helping out with sound at my church, and it's been a really great experience. I originally got into it because I wanted to get some experience before I went off in the real world, and I got way more out of it than I expected. They've been saying a lot of really good things about me, and, eventually, I might be able to work the board on my own! When exactly will that be? It can be any day now.

Lucky. Snow is pretty much a rarity down here in southeast Texas. In all honesty, I doubt we'll be getting any cold weather this year because of the damn drought.

I recently saw a documentary about the Sherman Brothers. Who knew that they basically hated each other, and barely spoke to each other after the left the Disney company? That's deep stuff right there. I may hate my brother every now and again, but I probably wouldn't go twenty years without talking to him.

Recently saw "Despicable Me" just for something to do. Outside of the fax scene, which my kids thought was unnecessary and not at all funny, we enjoyed it.
That was one of the movies we saw on the way to New Orleans for this past band trip. That, and Monsters vs. Aliens. I didn't like either one of them. I thought they were more hokey and boring than funny, especially Monsters vs. Aliens.

Even though I'm graduating on Friday, I'm offically done with high school. The only final exam I had to take was Audio Engineering, which I needed a negative score to pass for the semester.

Just woke up from an hour an a half nap after hosting UIL for the last time. Our bands did pretty good overall; Wind Symphony (the one I'm in) got sweepstakes (1's on stage and sight reading), Symphonic Band got a 2 on stage and 1 in sight reading, and Concert Band got a 2 on stage and sight reading.

About to go to sleep. I have to get up at 2:30 in the morning to help put out signs for the Katy Ram Challenge. Then I'm performing some stand tunes with the other seniors to help motivate the riders. And then I'm gonna be working the last rest stop of the ride until three in the afternoon. It's gonna be a long, tiring, busy day.
