i have installed the clean installer to my computer but i had my computer repaired and so when i try to reinstall it i get a message telling me that i must uninstall the old version first.
although it used to do it automatically before i had the repairs it now refuses to uninstall the old version meaning i can't install it again.
please help.
if anyone knows why its doing this or if there is a program similar to the clean installer that i can use instead please let me know.

I don't mean to do it i'm just not used to doing it yet and i'm not very good at punctuation it was always my downfallin school.

an infant outfit changer that allows you to keep your babys skintone whether it is a custom skintone or not
ive tried the baby out fit changer 2 but that changes the skintone aswell

before i start i know this is a sims 2 forum but my question is about the sims 1 and i have tried everywhere for an answer but unsuccessfully
i yesterday installed the sims 1 double deluxe because my computer is broken and will not run the sims 2
i have downloaded oodles and oodles of custom content for it and now i dont know where to put it ive tried everywhere for answers and it will only tell me how to do it on the sims 2 and 3 as these are now the most commonly used ones
if anyone could help me i would be so so so so so grateful

just wondering (and i iknow it probably doesnt exist) but is there a mod that allows u to choose your sims gender preference when they bacome teens?

how does stretchskeleton work as far as height adjusting?
ive triexd to use it but without any ideas asa to how short or tall it will make them i have had no luck

beatles they did there were loads of polls and things but ea apparently just ignored everyones opinion and did what they wanted its a case of if you aint gunna luisten dont ask with the sims 3 ea has ticked alot of people off and greatly disappointed them i'm currently waiting to get a new laptop before i buy it so it could take months for me to get it so i have to wait and judge it for myself but from the sounds of things i might just wanna stick to the sims 2

im so glad that they can take their babies and toddlers with them now that wasnt and option bewfore so it was quite annoying
i always used to mute it when i was trying for a baby anyway i liked the suprise lol
is there a reason that the changing table is no longer in it i mean wha5t happened to complete nursery sets 
but other than that it sounds great are there gunna be any cheats for it though like the money ones and a boolprop type thingamawidget?

what exactly are the options i CAS like how detailed are the slider options?
how does the pregnancy and birthing work? do they have to go to hospital or is that an option?
is there a censor blur?
can you go shopping for clothes?
how does schooling work?
and finally what in TS3 is the same as in TS2

my laptop broke so i cant get it until i have a new laptop in a few months time but if (and i cant believe im saying this) its a disappointment then i will stand proud with my sims 2 and all its custom content but as it has been said the llikely hood is that there will be tonnes of cc for ts3 and meshes galore almost as soon as its realease its inevitable that people will make it and post it and that people will download it

since the sims 2 came out i'vce been desperate for themto make it but now i'm torn
its out tomorrow so i'm going to buy it and at least give it a chance but if it fails to impress me then i'm afraid it will be sims 2 all the way but i mean alot of people felt the same about the sims 2 until the eps and sps were reasleased so i'm still not sure only time will tell
