These were made by using maxis default skintones. You may upload these on your custom sims but please give me credit. I do not usually ask to be given credit but these were not a kick in the bucket to make like my hairs recolors are. I now have so much more respect for those of you who make custom skins. I plan to make more but will allow some time to rest before hand...:lol:. Maybe make some new recolors for the new Nouk hairdo. What a beautiful hairdo.

You may pick and choose your colors. All of them have flower blossoms on the face part of the skintones. The body part is just the main color of the skin (no blossoms). They have no makeup already painted on the skintones so you will have to apply that to the skintones yourself. I did this to allow for creativity for the simmers using these skintones.

Blue bell file is the blue skintone
Venus fly trap is the green skintone
Peach blossom is the peach skintone
Purple Iris is the purple skintone
Mocha Orchid is the chocolate skintone (I had to use different flower blossoms for this tone and that is the reason it has a tad different look to the face blending)

This is mesh # 3 from xmsims xmsims mesh #3 but these are Jayurban12 braid textures from (MTS2) jayurban12 at MTS2. He gave me permission to recolor them. What a sweetie! Anyway here they are:

I tried to show all skin types to show how versatile this hair is. They are all binned. This way the eyebrows match. These are for toddler to Elder. I just loved this hair and I guess you can tell as many as I made. I am going to try to find another mesh file that these textures will lend themselves to nicely. So look for those soon as I love braids.

Well I finally got around to recoloring these of renegade sims hair mesh (fix of peggy's, Renegades is a whole new mesh though and I do not recommend using peggy's as you will have the bad errors in the mesh if you do)

This is recolors of peggy's hair mesh 0025. You will need the mesh and it is a pay mesh...it can be found here:

The mesh is included in the uploads as Sshodan is now a closed site and you can no longer get the mesh there.

I love peacock feathers and knew that someday I wanted to recolor this hair. When I was growing up we had two peacocks. They were a breeding pair. They were a trip watching them. They got loose once and got way up in a tree and my Dad had to go down in his underware and close their pen when they finally came home to roost.  Don't tell my Dad I told you. :shh:

Anyway all in the photos are included in one large rar file the mesh file is seperate. The recolors are named in the file so if there is a color you are not interested in you can just delete them before placing them in your downloads folder.

Enjoy these!! I think they are a real fun hair. They however are not animated but look really nice in game anyway.

I started out making these only in sherbet colors but ended up throwing in a few other colors. The reason for the swatches on the side of the large photo is so you can see the sutle shading in this hair as it does not show well in the photos of all the recolors. One looks white and is actually the palest shade of lavender. So if you take a look at the swatches you will see the sutle shades. They really look super cute in the game.

First off I sent her (lapink) a shout and showed her my edits and she told me to upload and color away. She liked mine too. I did some of my own textures and did not recolor someone elses. Some are recolors of roan textures and soem are my own textures (mine have the coat collars around the models neck in the photo). Also you will find a few alternative colors. Edited now Binned...yay!!! I finally figured out how to bin hair..... The download file is of the binned version now!!! Now I just want to figure out how to convert female to male and vice versa.


I made recolors to look more natural then the colors that peggy chooses. Shortyboo from sims contest said she hoped that someone would try to make some more natural recolors of this mesh. So I hope these are more natural. I like blondes to be platinum I guess that is from years of being a hair dresser.
