You actually need to enable the CC on that "We have noticed that Custom Content is Enabled in your game" message which appears when the start up screen finishes loading. Do that by checking the box besides the "Enable Custom Content" message which appears at the bottom of that screen, and then reboot the game. Then the custom objects won't be flashing blue anymore.
The program automatically disables all CC whenever a new EP or SP is installed, save for all bodyshop stuff and wall/floor coverings. It's something which shouldn't really come as a surprise to anybody...

I really don't think she looks Maxian at all, by any means. Therefore, I haven't the slightest idea what Cactus is talking about. Anyhoo, splendid work. By the way,somebody can't tell me how i can act!If someone tries to do that,i will make something out my principles,i will hurt her/him...And you don't want to see cuts from cactus (; Just a warning... Oh, I see. Making threats...now that is a good way of getting banned indeed.:punch: |

That would be Castaway Stories, not an actual expansion pack. Oh, and the flashing blue items would be a result of the program automatically disabling all custom content once the EP is installed. You have to check the "Enable Custom Content" box which shows up once the game has finished loading, then you need to restart the game in order to get your CC working again.
There's no need for a new CEP so far - it will only become a necessity once people start creating recolours for FT objects.
Oh, so it's out in Australia? I should go check out the local game stores if I can bunk off work early enough tomorrow, but then again I've sworn not to buy and install it until I'm aware of any bugs it may have (and I have no doubt there will be some). I keep on worrying that this will be as poorly executed as the Pets EP was.

Like MiM, I've experienced no significant problems since installing BV, except for the odd crash. I've had SuckuROM on my PC for at least six months, and I'm still yet to experience any major catastrophe, so I can honestly say that I will still fork out for Free Time, SecuROM or no SecuROM. This isn't to say that I approve of it being there, though - all I'm saying is that it hasn't caused any problems for me.

Whoa...whenever I leave Ripp and Tank to their own devices, they end up laying into one another.
Anyway, I like what I've read so far. I've always thought of Ripp as a sweetie myself, but Tank on the other hand certainly leaves a bit to be desired - well, in my game he does, anyway. It's nice to see them make amends in your story, though.
One thing I'm thinking about though, but then again it's because I have a filthy mind - will a "Brotherly Love" type scenario evolve between Ripp and Tank? Just a thought...:lol:

"EA better shape up?" Haha, right...dream on. As long as they have money in their pockets, what reason do they have? I don't remember them ever having the interests of the community at heart, what with the SecuROM fiasco and the anti-paysite petition, which only prompted them to amend their TOS. So much for preserving harmony in the community.
BTW, I think Bon Voyage is a kick-ass EP and I've had no problems with SuckuROM...not so far, anyway, though I can't say I approve of EA carrying out an insidious measure such as the inclusion of that ogre of a program in their software. I'm not dismissing the possibility of something going horribly wrong though, but I'll worry about it when it happens.
