No, you need the basegame installed, or else you won't get bodyshop or homecrafter.

I just move their whole house to the simbin, and when I enter a new 'hood, they are still in the bin. BUT I think this requires an EP, not sure wich.

Take the hacks out of your downloads-folder before you package it. When it's packaged, open it with wohoo and check what it contains If you don't have wohoo, upload the house here in this thread, and I can check it for you (i have windows on my mac too for things like this)

Well, Im just hinking of simply now using them now, but figured I'd ask anyway...

The new buildt-in closets that came with AL simply doesn't work for me, neither in apartment lots or single homes. I have taken out all hacks and cc,  and still the problem persists. Any tips? The game doesn't crash or anything, I just cant use the closets i get the greyed out mouse when I hover over them.

I think the bubbles came with seasons, maybe the dacning too (since winter is the season for builing family relationships, so i think a cople of new family interactions came with that EP)

The insimenator machine can take care of alot of this. You can add extra days to your husbands life, say 5 days i.e, then he will reach elderhood 5 days before your sim. With the insim, you can also choose to place him directly on any level on any career, so if he is a politican i.e, you can just place him on level 8 or 9 on the politics-level.

The twins, not so sure about that. But you can use the insim to make them have the relationshiplevel "best friends", that should make them go easier on eachother.

The beds, no 100% sure solution there. If they are best friends they should agree to sleeping in the same bed, but not quite sure how that is with children.

As for the nanny, that one is impossible. The nanny must be an elder female, and I do not think there is any way to customize her, she is a random NPC created by the game.

It can also be a problem with your video card, that it isn't strong enough. You may have to live without snow.

Try taking all your CC out, create a new hood, with just one new house, set the seasons to all round winter so that you get snow quicly, and see what happens. If it is still flashing blue, it's probably your video card. What card are you using?

Wich EPs do you have?
Is this ALL the windows?
Are you using custom recolors?
Wich direction is the houses facing?
Is there sunlight elsewhere on the lot?
Have you tried leaving a little bit of wall, then place the windows, and then closing the walls?
