The strangest thing happened to one of my projects... I was working on a top. This is not the first time Im making something. I was refreshing every now and then to see how it looked, everything was fine. I was almost done, I was just going to change the color on it (the fabric i used was a dull dark grey), so I did that in photoshop, saved the file, blabla, and then refreshed the bodyshop-screen for the last time. And bodyshop quit on me.

Ok, no biggie I thought, maybe my poor Mac is just a little stressed. So I closed all the other programs I had open (except photoshop), opened bodyshop again, and tried to enter that project. Bodyshop quit again. And again. And again. I restarted, still quitting.

Ok, I thought, I'll just start a new project on the same mesh, and just copy over the files. Same thing happened to that project.

Thing is, I can't delete the projects from bodyshop, since when I click on them, it quits. I deleted the files manually, though.

Now, this isn't such a big problem, since it was quite an easy top and I can just start from scratch again. I just wondered what caused this. How could the file get corrupted just suddenly like that, while I was working on it? It doesn't make any sense to me.

The short shirt is a simple recolor of a maxis basegame-shirt, so no mesh needed there. The long, untucked shirt needs HP's untucked mesh.

Is it possible at all? (without having to redo it everytime you start up the game). I am on a Mac, and SimPe doesn't work on that (I am posting it here because I will probably get more answers here).

I have decided I want to give meshing a try. Wich programs work for Mac? Preferably something that is free... And kinda easy to use

I just noticed quite a problem: My sims don't age! Their are stuck in the same "x days until xxx becomes child/teen/adult/elder". The only mods I have are the insimenator and the CEP. I have turned aging on both by using the cheat and by using insimenator, but it doesn't make a difference.

I only have the basegame.

Anyone else experienced this?

The one I DO need to know if works, is the CEP.

Wich hacks/mods DOESNT work on mac?

I know I have read somewhere a guide on how to use the F-buttons to take pictures in bodyshop, but I cannot remember where. So please help me, anyone who can

The things I really would need to know, is how to zoom in (like on the face), remove the whole make things-thingy (uhm, so only the sims shows, you undertand?) and.... Well, I need it for more seirous picture-taking nowadays, since Im stuck on a computer with bodyshop, but no the sims-cd, so I cannot take pictures of my creations in-game.

I am selling my PC and buying my fiance's Mac. I am planning on selling my Sims-games for the PC to have money to buy it for Mac. I know about the 12000 or something limit on custom contest, but even in my worst periods of downlad-crazy and lazyness in deleting unused stuff, I have never passed 10.000 downloads on my computer. I don't use SimPe, or homecrafter, so that's not a problem.

Now here are my questions:

Will all custom content be usable? I have heard about tewture-problems and so on, but that don't worry me. What I mean is: There isn't like CC for windows-sims and CC for mac-sims? I can use everything I find?

Whatever I make in Mac-Bodyshop, can that be used by windows-users?

And when does Seasons come out for Mac?

Well, the title says it all. I would like to learn how to convert female hair to male. There are so many cool female hairstyles, especially shorter ones, that would look SO good on males.

As if it wasn't enough that I can't play my game because of stupid red blinking walls, bodyshop is messing up too.

I only really started to use bodyshop a few weeks ago, to make sims (to put up for download). Then I started fiddling with making custom content. But I have a problem. I will let the pictures speak for themselves:

This annoys me so much, because I really don't want to be bothered to have to go ingame to take pictures when I make something! My computer is very slow nowadays and I honestly don't have the time for it.

I have read, understood and loved Innocent's tutorial on photoskinning. But that was a dress. I am thiking of participating in the Spring Skinning contest (i have this great outfit in my head) but I need some help... I don't understand how to use the photoskinning tutorial when it comes to shoes and sleeves. Anyone?

Okey. I have finally realized that I need a new video card. So since I am no computer-genius, I ask you for help.

I need a card that will continue to be good enough for the sims and all the ep's that will be coming for quite a long time (i don't want to have to wish for a new card for christmas, you know...), but it can't cost a fortune, because I don't have that.

Any recommendations, anyone?

I want to make various patterns to have on my sims cheeks and chins, that show up under the facepaint-category (i don't think it's the right name, but can't remember what it's called right now).

Im thinking like hearts, stars or organic patterns (think like temperary tattoos).

I have never made custom content in my life and I need help.

Do I make the pattern in photoshop first, and then take it into bodyshop?

Well, I have some trouble getting my pets to be houseclean.

When I teach the cats to use the toilet, that's what they do: Use the humans toilet. NEVER the cat litterbox. And I can't find a way to train my dogs not to pee inside, and no option to scold them when they do it either.

Help?
