1  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: The update killed my game! on: August 01, 2009, 09:31:09 pm
I had to remove Delphi's facialslider hack, to stop crashing in the loading screen.

The bodyslider hack works still.

Thank you for your hard and time consuming work.

It seems, that I'm the only one with that twin problem. huh I have that problem since seasons and has nothing to do with the family-aspiration benefit. I never take that special benefit. Grin I had my games totally ( 2x) new installed since that problem occurred, maybe my Sims are special blessed with fertility. angry

Since nobody else is nagging about that twin problem I suggest that you drop that part of my request and maybe you can take on the part that juices are less filling ( normal snack filling without any bonuses)? Preferred juices to be tweaked are:
apple
orange
orangade
eggplant

like I said, it has nothing to do with the family sim and benefit because I had it since seasons. But I found out in another forum, where somebody is working on the borked event randomizer and my guess is, that my randomizer stuck with drink o-juice - get twins.

But anyways, I'm very thankfull for your hard work you putted into that matter. And I see, that there is no way to chance the filling of the juices.

wow they kinda cut the lil ones outta the will a bit there didnt they no complete nurseries no baths
poor things
is the cheat box brought up in the same way ?

My guess is, we can then buy special stuff to build a nursery in their online store someday. GAH3

Well I think, because we can take the babies and tots everywhere there is no need for a changing table, since you can see the needs of the baby and chance diaper by pie menue. I miss complete nurseries too.

The most boolprob cheats are still working, but you can not type boolprob, just what you want, like testingcheatsenabled true/false. The old money cheat still works the same way.

Toddlers don't build skill the same way they did in TS2. They have the xylophone, peg whatchamacallit and activity table but you can't build skill levels with them. It's more of the toddler playing with them to get them to grow up well so you can choose a couple of their traits when they age to a child thing.

You still build skills from books, the guitar and chess table like before but you can also attend classes downtown which help build your skills.

But the playing with the specific toys of the toddlers is adding up and as child when the start to build skills they get then credited for.
For example they play with blocks from the activity table and you will see a green status bar over their heads. Every time is it full, it will be later in the childhood credited as skill level when the kid picks up a mechanial skilling device.

Babies are not more just in a diaper, they are wraped in a blanket. Chanchingtables are not more in the game, they chance diapers with a click in the babies pie menue. Toddlers the same way. They need not more to be bathed, just diaper change.

A ton of objects are the same as in Sims2. Seasons kitchen and diningroom, the mission set and more.

Please don't take it the wrong way, but I made my choice between Sims2 and 3 and choose Sim 3. So this mod is for me not more requested.

Thank you all of this section for the wonderfull mods you had made and I hope you guys get it going for Sims 3 too. Some package editor is surly made in a bit of time.

so its a meal that you have to cook? and what's it called?

I know we are mean. Evil But I think you waited long enough. It called ambrosia and you can optain the recipe at the bookstore for 13.000 Simos. For the ingredients you need a deathfish and the fruit of life. To catch a deathfish you will need an angelfish as bait and a very high fishing level. The fruit you have to find a seed or optain one through cooking contest. For that to win you need a very high cooking skill. ( I had a 5 star cook)For growing your own fruits a high gardening skill. (Wife had a Level 8 to grow a fruit to make more for sell.) Son has 8 level fishingskill and can now fishing for a deathfish) To find a waterbody for the deathfish is the pond in the graveyard.

I'm testing now if I sell the friut to the supermarket, it comes on the shelf or not.

GAH2 Thats, what I thought. No choices for toddlers. And I'm disapointed there is no changing table and you can't build a nice nursery. I loved to have complete nurseries. Cry

But 2 days mourning if somebody in the families dies, that's just great, crying and crying and more crying angry

I haven't seen it yet in the supermarket, but I got the fruit from a cooking contest. I will try to plant it and then selling the product. May by it will be then in the supermarket on the shelf.

Sim Baby turned to a toddler an had just shorts on. I thougt I can get new stuff for tyke from the dresser but  there is no option to "plan outfit" for toddlers. There is no option in the tots pie menue and I am lost. Did I miss something?

Can somebody please give me a hint or tip where a can planing an outfit for the poor little thing? And by the way is there a way to chance the toddlers hair?

Okay here a short tip. By so low memory you have to get out the game every 1.5 to 2 hrs., and restart the pc. So the memory is cleared again.
