If you run a UK installation of Apartment Life then you may have noticed that the rhymes within the spellbook are not formatted correctly. Instead they just sprawl across the page.
If you run a Dutch installation then this is the case with three of the spells.

This package will replace the text in the spellbook so that it now displays with the correct formatting. No more poorly crafted spellbooks for you!
Below is an example of how the spells will appear after dropping this file into your downloads folder.

Whenever I get a new expansion pack I like to go through the catalogues reading the descriptions of the new items. Some of them are quite funny. I was very disappointed though when I came across the "Column - Tech". I dunno if EA couldn't be bothered to give the column a proper name and description or if they just forgot.
Either way I have typed up a description for it and named it after the items of the similar design. Below is what you will get in game after you put this file in your downloads folder.

This file is only in English so players of other languages should probably not bother with it.

This has bugged me since I first managed to get a Sim to learn to teleport.



The image on the left is what the game normally displays after learning to teleport. The right shows it with my correction in the downloads folder.

I don't know if the error exists in the other languages so this just corrects the English.
If it is incorrect in other languages in which you play your game you should be able to open this file using SimPE and edit the text yourself. Just select your game language from the dropdown list in the 'Plugin View' and type in what it should say. Commit Changes and then save the file.

Please don't redistribute this elsewhere as it is. You are free to distribute any versions which correct flaws (if any) with the other languages though.

What a mouthful that title is!

Anyway, this little package overrides the meshes for the burglar outfits. I've not changed the shape of the meshes at all. The only thing I altered was the UV mapping on the toes of the boots.

So instead of seeing this:


You should see this:


Simply stick it in your downloads folder to see the changes. It should effect adults and elders of both genders whether the outfit is worn by an actual burglar or as a Mime uniform (FT entertainment career).

What I am bringing to you today are three (3) recolours of Numenor's wonderful working magazine rack from over at MTS2.

Not only have I recoloured the wood but also the magazines too! The racks now come in white, black and dark brown.

I now have two more recolours available at MTS2 in this thread.

The white recolour comes with a "Miss Sim" magazine, the black recolour comes with "Sim Health" and the dark brown recolour comes with a simmified edition of "Heat". I also took the time and effort to recolour the backs of the magazines even though you never really see them in game.

Now please read the boring stuff below before downloading and then enjoy them in your game

All of the recolours for both types of rack are in the one zip file below. They are clearly labeled with rack colour and whether they are the vertical or the horizontal recolours so you can easily delete whichever you don't need/want.
You CANNOT delete a magazine recolour without also getting rid of the related rack recolour though as they are connected to one another. e.g. if you delete the "Miss Sim" magazine recolour you will also loose the white wood recolour.

Do not redistribute these recolours on any other site, pay or free. Please also do not use my magazine designs as bases for your own. I spent a lot of time on them.

Today I bring to you some recolours of BlooM's cowlneck sweater mesh. I have created them in blue, green, grey, lilac/purple and red. They are all in one zip file but are clearly labelled so that you can just delete the ones you don't want.
I hope that both you and your Sims enjoy them.

These two packages that I have created enable the animations on the two cribs that came with FreeTime. Finally your Sims wont stick their arms through the railings anymore!

This was another oversight on EAxis' part as they modelled the cribs incorrectly. Instead of there being several railing morphs seperate from the crib frame as in the base game crib, there was only one set of railings modelled onto the main frame. I simply added in the missing railing morphs.

This took me roughly 5 hours to complete so I feel EAxis have no excuse as to why it was missed out.

I also altered the textures of the canopy crib slightly to remove the shadows cast by the railings as they didn't move with the railing which looked odd.

I hope you find this correction useful in your game.

After seeing the blue replacement butterflies created by simsample over at MTS2 in this thread> Seasons Butterfly Replacement, I decided to create my own.

This is simply a texture alteration and my version is of Peacock butterflies.

If you have simsample's butterflies in your game then you cannot have these in at the same time. You have to choose between them.

Please don't upload this file anywhere else but feel free to use it to create your own recolour override.

This package alters the Free Time clown facepaint so that the nose is correctly coloured in. See the pictures below for the comparison.

This is a VERY minor alteration but one that I have seen has been bugging a LOT of people. Instead of the text reading "What a achievement..." the text now correctly reads "What an achievement...".

This little fix is so that the Reggae community speaker is now listed as such and not the "Bubblegum Sugar" Pop speaker instead.
This DOESN'T fix the problem with the speaker not playing the correct music. You can find a fix for that over at moreawesomethanyou and I believe it is called commstereofix.

Fellow Simmers, are you as sick as I am of the millions of "Made FIRST BFF" memories a Sim has no matter how many BFFs they actually have? Well be sick no more!
This file alters the text of the memory so that it no longer mentions "first". The text instead reads: "Made a BFF. A Best Friend Forever! How cool is that? Now we'll be buds for life." You can see it in the picture below.
I don't actually know why the "first" memory even exists as according to the files in SimPE there is NO "Made first BFF" memory! Only a "Made a BFF" memory.
I was originally just going to enable to original EA memory text but it was a bit boring so the text above is my own doing. I hope you like it.
All that remains now is for you to download the file, unpack it into your Downloads folder and forget about cringing when viewing a Sims' memories.

Here is the Imperial Lyon Basin, as the title suggests, in blue. I was sick of there not being a blue recolour for it and so after the first flukey attempt at deciding to change some random number values (because there is no texture to edit in a recolour of this sink) I ended up with exactly what I was after.

I now present this blue recolour for you to enjoy in your own games.

I present to you some recolours that I have made of BlooM's Toddler Hair Conversion.
I have recoloured it in the four basic MAXIS colours and the elders also go grey. Each hair colour has a different bandana colour just because I prefer it this way. I hope you do too.

These colours are available for all ages from child upwards and are binned. As a result of the binning the elders all wear a purple bandana regardless of what colour it was before they age transitioned.

I hope you enjoy these as I put a LOT of effort into them, especially the blond colour which took a lot of tweaking.

Don't forget to go and thank BlooM as well for his wonderful conversion.
