I am going to try a new game. Basically, you have to ask a question that can begin with the words "If you could," such as: "If you could stick a hedgehog down anyones pants, whose pants would you stick it down?" It can be serious, not serious, whatever you want! The next poster answers the previous posters "If you could" question, then asks a question of their own, and so on. Your answers can be one word or a detailed explanation, whatever you feel like. I figured it'd be a detailed and interesting game. I hope you guys think so, too.

I see a distinct lack of movie threads, you guys.  I love movies and watch way too many of them (it's what happens when you have no life, after all) so I figured I'd start this.

What's the last movie you watched? And what'd you think of it? You don't have to write a full movie review (unless you want to, of course!) just whether it was awesome, okay, or terrible!


Last movie I watched: Bedtime Stories. It was all right, sort of cute and I had a few chuckles.

My favourites in order:
Original Trilogy: 4, 6, 5.
Prequel Trilogy: 3, 1, 2. (It pains me to dislike 2 as much as I do, because Ewan McGregor is just so fine in that movie. Sigh...)

Indiana Jones: 3, 1, 4, 2.

I attempted to use BodyShop to take one of my Formal outfits and make as if I was going to recolour it, but all I intended to do was make it so that it appears in the Everyday category, too. But it said there was an error exporting the textures. 

Does anyone know how I could fix this, or another way I could make this outfit show up for Everyday clothing, too? I have SimPE, if that will do it?

Any help please?

Figured everything out!

  In a shocking move, I finally decided to make a self-sim. So, I bring to you: Sim Naria! Feel free to torture her mercilessly have fun with her.

Ideally, she should have 7 neat points, 2 outgoing points, 3 active points, 5 playfulness points, and 7 nice points.
She should be a Scorpio, though, which isn't what the game will give you. 
Her turn on's should be black hair and creativity. Turn off doesn't matter.
You can give her whatever aspiration, but Family would be more suitable.
If you make her fit, give her a job, and a relationship, she's luckier than real Naria, who lost all those things. 

I showed her no mercy and she wasn't made to be pretty, she was made to be me. So she's got a big nose and a rounder face than she'd like. I gave her hair that is the colour that mine is. She's wearing makeup that suits what I usually do, infact I own a lipstick EXACTLY like the one she's wearing. Shiny and all! And she's wearing an outfit that I would wear, because I like colours. They are pretty and easily distract me.

Anyone want to share their excitement about something? It can be anything. Feel free to squeal and jump up and down and etc. 

I want to  because my kitten is going to be born soon. I've waited to get a kitten for 9 years, so my excitement is pretty darn high. I keep telling everyone my baby is going to be born within the next few weeks, and they look at me and go, "... Really?" And I have to assure them I'm talking about a cat.

These are a recolour of Yurii's streaked recolour of NewSea's lollipop hair.
I absolutely adore Yurii's, but wanted some unnatural coloured streaks for my Sims.
I went a little overboard. The streak colours come in: Blue, Green, Hot Pink, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, and Yellow.
The streaks are on all regular colours: Black, Brown, Blonde, and Red. (They are the Nouk textures.)
Also, in the ALL OF THEM file there is a White with Black streaks.

They are: All Ages! Compressorized! Colourful! In the custom bin!
Clearly named so you can pick and choose which ones you want!

Hello. I was wondering if it was possible to make a mod where the Butler doesn't try to be a nanny, and just leaves my Sims kids alone, especially the babies?

I have all EP's and SP's.

Is there any way to uninstall the official Maxis patches? It has broken a lot of things in my game.

I was thinking perhaps if I uninstalled Apartment Life, reinstalled, and didn't patch it -- would that revert my game back to the way it was before I installed the stupid Maxis patch?

So, I have a dreaded custom mailbox that came with a lot I downloaded. Previously my .net framework was all wonky and I couldn't run Clean Installer ... so I deleted the custom mailbox in game.  I tried to remove the mailbox, rezone the lot, and it ended up crashing my game. So I backed up my stuff and started the game all fresh. Put my stuff back in, go to play ... THE STUPID CUSTOM MAILBOX IS STILL THERE!

So I deleted it from the game again. But I do not trust it to not mess everything up. So I ended up reinstalling .net frameworks and etc and finally have Clean Installer working.

But now I can't find a file that says it is a mailbox. Did the game actually delete it this time, or is it being sneaky? Can anybody help me? I fully admit I'm a moron.

  Can Maxis ever get anything right?

I finally gave in and dared to patch my game, and I knew there would be unwelcome consequences. The first of which I have run into seems to be that it has borked my Sim's fridge. It only has the options "Make", "Make Many" and "Juggle Bottles," as opposed to before when it had "Have Breakfast", "Serve Breakfast", "Check Food Level", "Serve Dessert" and etc ...

Now, I realize "Make..." will basically do the same thing, but I liked everything being in categories and you could only have breakfast foods at breakfast time and all that.

Also, it seems further broken because no matter how many fridges I buy my Sims, they keep getting the want to buy one. 

Is there a way to fix this? I don't think there's a way to uninstall the patch ... although, I wish there was. 

Why is it that there isn't a lock on the door to keep Sims from other apartments on the lot out of your apartment? My Sims never even greet these people, but they find it fit to walk into my apartment and start taking showers! Do they not have their own showers, I mean honestly ... 

I figure that the lock "Lock for all Sims" would work, but then the Sims that actually live there wouldn't be able to get in. So how do I keep them out? Is there a way?

The songs that drive you crazy thread gave me an idea.

What songs are there that you want desperately to hate, because it's not your style, or it's annoying, but you just can't? Either you liked it from the first time, or it just became so overplayed that it kind of grew on you like a fungus?
