sims 2 stereo problem

hi.

I have a stereo for my sim and put the wall speakers in teh same room, but when the sim turn the stereo off the speakers keep playing.

and the only way to turn them of is to sell them and re-buy them ...

expensive hobby to have a one time used speaker thing going.

anyone know what may cause this?

Well that is the way they are made to work. They are mainly for community lots. It's ok to use at home but they do not shut off.

they used to do it when I only had Sims2 =/
