This not actually a sims story as such. It is about some of the skewball stuff due to game mods. Hmm, maybe it is after all.

My game downloads folder (at the moment in conflict somewhere) has at one time contained over 11,000 mods in over 190 subfolders, and took over 5Gb on disk. When I get a conflict, I get a conflict.:smt120

However, I not long ago downloaded a purple modded Hotrod rat, from simtech2. Great looking mod, terrific looking engine, looks cherry sitting in the garrage, all shiny under the dicso lights (don't ask). But, the icing on the cake is the out of whack syncronisation in the animations. I just tell my sim to drive, come home, drive again and come home, just to watch the hotrod door open, close, the sim then gets in through the closed door. The rod reverses out of the driveway, followed by the sim, who is sitting in the driving position in mid air. The rod then drives off, once again followed, a split second, later by the sim. I chuckle to myself just thinking about it. Maybe I have a quirky sense of humour, but sometimes, something comes along that just amuses me in a different way. And this hotrod is current comedy king in my sim book.
Of course, it could also be just my game alone reacts like this. If not, please simtech2, do not fix it, it so funny at times.:-P

Actually, this doesn't belong in Sims Stories, so I have moved it to General Sims 2 Help.  I do think that this is just a glitch with the item itself.  It's very odd, and I have to ask...do you have photos?  LOL
