Community lot stuff in OFB

Okay, so I got this idea to have this family in my game to create a grocery store as a home business. I spent hours modifying their house to fit the purpose, but then when I was supposed to furnish the store, I realized you apparently can't use grocery store stuff on residential lots. At least they don't appear in the menus. Is there any way around this, or do I really need to make them purchase a community lot for their store? :icon9:
My original idea was to have them keep the store in the ground floor, and their apartment in the second floor.

it makes community items available in residential lots.

If you find that you cannot access the collection in buy mode, simply switch to build mode to access the collection- you can buy from there.
