Missing Sims

I just bought the university expansion pack and was playing around with it, adding teens to the university and deleting the families...I lost some good people doing that. That isn't even the issue. But one of the sims still shows up in the family tree...yet I can't access him any more. What's up with that? Thanks!

well, you kind of imported one sim to the university neighbourhood. his genetics, family etc didnt change. neither did his memory. these sims will always stay in the family tree.

Exactly.

When you delete sims they are completely gone from the neighborhood but will still show in family trees so it is normal you cannot call or invite them over, you deleted them.
