Here is a very critical fix that Pescado from MATY site issued today for AL.

I suggest you get it and also look at the additional fixes he posted which he is giving links to in that thread.

Unofficial AL Patch - Assorted Fixes

Check often since Pescado keeps updating his mods all the time and this one is no exception.

Thanks Miss Doh. Smiley  Nice to see you, how have you been?

I hate to say it, but I recommend people stay away from the patch for the time being.  I've had some problems with it and it messed up my game.

I've asked Pescado about it at MTS2 and hopefully he will answer my question.  The biggest issue is that is blacks out the neighbours, so when you visit them by knocking on their door, everything, the sims, the furnture, everything becomes solid black.  The sims can still interact, but they are like shadows.

That was the only mod in my folder so I am sure that is what caused this problem. Sad

I am doing great thanks. Smiley  I've been hanging in the help sections as usual.

If you are experiencing issue with this mod, the best way to get in touch with Pescado is to post about your problem directly at MATY in that thread I linked in the main post.

If it is not working properly for sure he will fix it.

Many are using it without any issue so I still strongly recommend it.

Did you simply try to delete your groups.cache to see if it would not fix that issue?

The blackout problem was happening even before Pescado started his AL fixes.

Oh thanks Ancient, that just reminded me I read something about it and it might be ATI videocard related.

I just can't remember where I read that though.

This patch is good.
It fixes the bhav which was borked when a teen works on the body of a restorable car, among others.
Kudos!

Is there a compatibility issue between this patch and the new official patches?

The first patch which came out fixed so much of what Pescado's mod fixed, that I removed the Unofficial Patch from downloads.
