I agree with Tenshi.

I had this same issue on an owned community lot.

Turn on testing cheats.

Then click on every item in your apartment. If the file is corrupt, a window will popup asking whether you want to delete the item from your apartment. You have to click on every item in every apartment you own. It may take a while, but it will more then likely work. I would delete any corrupt items I can find until time starts ticking again.

I found the file I was talking about, and Clean installer shows that it's an object recolor, and it's highlighted in red.

I deleted the file, and i'm going to try again.  I'm not sure what it was a recolor of though.

It's a possibility that particular file was a rogue mailbox hack.  Wink  That could be the cause of your problem.

If you can locate the latest error log located in the folder "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Logs" & attach it to your reply I may be able to help you Smiley

I found the problem! YAY!!!  I usede the testing cheat, and it found it right away.

It was the Adult-Singer career.  once I deleted it, time and my Sims started moving again.

Thanks for all your help everyone.
