I am using a 512graphic card, and 256 video card 0.o
i did
run->dxdiag-> direct 3d test
and it work out fine..
but bodyshop won't open 0.o
i did read a lot but most of the threads seems to have lower grade cards
and I don't think my card is too weak to run bodyshop.

any ideas?

Go inside your Sims 2 folder and delete the cigen file.
That's the file that holds BodyShop information.

See if that works for you.

What is the name of your video card? if you don't know run dxdiag click save all info & attach the DxDiag.txt to your reply.

It's probably not your vid card -especially if you are able to run the game-. usually body shop loading problems are usually solved by deleting the cigen file just as deleting the groups cache file solves game loading problems.
