You mean if you right click on the my computer icon and left click on properties there isn't any information about the cpu? I have XP pro so if you have XP home maybe it's different. I don't mess around with home that much because of the network limitations it has on domains. I've never had mine not show the cpu and memory info on the general tab though. Even when it was sp1.

XP Home and XP Pro are similar in every aspect except that XP Pro have additional tools for admins to run networks, user groups and a slew of other admin stuff. Home is the basic stuff without the whistles and bells.

My Computer should be on your desktop where you see a bunch of programs to click on to start up.

1. Right-click My Computer.
2. Select Properties from the menu that popped up over My Computer.
3. Select the General tab where you can view the basic computer specs.

This is an example:

This is what you should be looking for to find out the system specs for your computer.

Ohh. That I understand. I fixed the problem, though. The flashingness is gone. One of the folders or something must've been screwed up, because I just reinstalled my last installed EP. Well it's all good now, and now I know how to answer the question, What are your computer specs?

OK... now that you know how to find them, can you PLEASE POST THEM? I'm begging you now. As I said before, cc does not cause graphic errors and, chances are, you might have the problem pop up again. So (as i asked before) can you please let us now your computer specs so we can help you prevent this happening again?

Also (as has been asked before) let us know if you are on a pc or laptop, and if you are using XP or Vista.

Ok Madison-Simple-As-That  lets do this step by step

click on the start button and right click on My Computer then hit click on Properties.

to get the sytem properties box back up where you can see it

You do have a video card in your laptop it just may be built in tho the laptops mother board. BEFORE WE CONTINUE DO NOT CHANGE ANY THING IN HERE OR IT CAUSE PROBLEMS. Now select Hardware tab this will open there are usally 3 choices under here the one we need to look at its the Device Manager. Its usally the top of the three choices.  Click the Device Manager button that open a column with icons on it, the one your looking for is one call Display Adapter click on the "+" symbol this well tell you what your "video card" mine says "NVIDA GeForce 8800 GTX" write this infromation down. How see if there is the Monitor icon click on the "+" symbol this well tell you what your display some laptops have this icon some don't. This information will let people know the hardward your running and wheather its up to the task or wheather its a configuration problem with the program itself

Hackers could use that Key to pull up info your computer then on you, we here can be trusted. goggle that number and stuff come up. I found a dell trouble report with that number it may or may not be you. I don't know and I don't need to know. So my advice is for you to remove that post. We don't want people using your license to do all sorts of nasty things cause you sound like a sweet person.

Madison-Simple-As-That is simple one of the thing you DON'T DO that key is like your car keys OK. Love n Hugs brat

OK, so now we know your graphics, I can guess this problem will reoccur. The Xpress 1150 is an integrated chip and just doesn't have enough juice to efficiently run the base game plus EPs. With just the base game you would be ok, but adding on EPs makes more work for it. You can probably help a bit by making sure your game graphic settings are set on low & turn reflections off (if they're not already off and greyed out by default). It won't make for the prettiest play, but it will help alleviate the strain on your graphics card.
