hey everyone, I just wanted to start a topic on skintones for the sims 3.
how would u like your sims  to look this real in your game?

Please explain in more clearer description what we're looking at on this site you referred us to.

I looked at the site and saw a realistic looking figure posing in a bikini set on the front page with a bunch of links to different programs on the left and some product prices listed on the right.

What are we looking at? I saw no reference to skintones or tools to create skintones there. And is this for Sims 3?

LOL! Do you think people really believe that, that model on that site, could be a sim in TS3? No, I don't ever think EA will allow that sort of open-source CC, because of the way they feel, that we the community have corrupted TS2. So uh, don't get you're hopes up too much folks lol.

Daz is a program like poser ... I think they are just posting it for maybe possibly what they would like the skins in sims 3 to look like.

I agree with Care. The OP has a good point as I have heard that the models from TS3 are loosely based on Poser models. BTW there some great shoe meshes on that site. Maybe one day we can use them or others like them in TS3.

Are these things pay site stuff? That's all I wanted to know since I don't know anything about poser programs or stuff like that.

No, they aren't pay sites. They are site for a program kinda like Blender or Milkshape or Photoshop.

I would like to learn how to make sims 3 skintone and when I do, I will share this wit the community, we need realistic sims. DAz has some pretty posers and models, the skintone on those models will look much better. peggyzone made extremely realistic skintone for the sims 3, if anyone already know.

I create Poser models for college projects, and I can assure you, it is in no way related to Sims 3 specifically (or Sims 3 paysites).
