Her hand flew to her mouth, she couldn’t believe he was asking. Her stomach jumped. Please let this be real she thought.
Happy tears rolled down her cheeks as she nodded, she daren’t speak, and she didn’t think she would be able to get the words out.

He got up and smiled as he placed the diamond ring on her finger. He had chosen a small one; he didn’t think she would want a big flashy one that just wasn’t her.
She threw her arms around his shoulders and enjoyed the moment.

He nodded over to the singer to start playing. Morgan hadn’t noticed everyone watching until they clapped and cheered for them. She laughed shyly and hid her face against Adams chest as the singer began Rod Stewarts, have I told you lately.
“This songs just for you.” Whispered Adam as they began to dance again.
Have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there's no one else above you?
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles that's what you do

As the song began to finish Adam squeezed Morgan to him, he was so happy, so overjoyed at that moment that he felt like he could burst. Morgan agreeing to be his wife had made him the happiest man alive as he said it would.

He rested his head against hers and closed his eyes. Taking in the fruity shampoo scent of her hair, he never wanted this moment to end.

He had been so nervous about asking her. Imagining all kinds of scenarios. What would he have done if she had said no? How would he have felt? And what would it have meant for them?
As Adam opened his eyes he looked over to their table. The waiter stood there smiled and gave a nod to signal that their meal was ready.

“You hungry?” he asked. “because our meal has just been brought over.”
“I don’t think I can eat anything.” She said quietly afraid of offending him after he had gone to so much trouble.

“The baby?”
“No.” she giggled. “The tribe of butterflies that have taken to dancing around in my stomach.”
He laughed at that and kissed her. “Just eat a little bit then, even if its just one mouthful.”
“Ok.” She said still lost in her blissful happiness.

Morgan was still grinning from ear to ear when they got home. Adam unlocked the door to the flat and let Morgan step in. She caught sight of her self in the mirror. She looked tired but happy. Her skin was glowing for a change, a gentle pink flushing her cheeks. Life didn’t seem so gloomy anymore.
She felt Adams hand snake around her waist and leant her body back into him.
“I’m going to make you so happy.” He whispered into her ear.
