Gusguns, you could also use a screen shot program.
Myself I use ScreenHunter 5, from Wisdom soft, they have a free version.
This program stores the images in a much higher resolution.
It uses the same resolution as the game is played in.
You can have them stored in the folder you want, with the name you want.
Makes it easy to find them.
The program will automatic name the next files, and you can also incluse date and time in the name.
You can set any key you want to use to take screenshots, default is the 'Print Screen' key.
You run screenhunter then start the Sims 2, everytime you want a shot hit 'Print Screen'.
So far I have not seen any performace loss in the sims 2 while using this program.
