My game keeps crashing

I only have a few installed lots...How would I get rid of those?

but the problem only began after I downloaded a massive amount of skins and installed them....

I have the original game, university, open for bussiness, family fun, night life, and glamor life (I run glamor life.

So what exactly is the problem?

Well the game will start to load after the title screen...it'll get about halfway through and stop. After several minutes, I'll hit alt-esc and see a error box saying the program has crashed.

EDIT: It stops at "Proscribing Plaebian Pallates"

I went into sims2 clean installer (whatever it's called) and sent by display picture taking out any that were not showing up...


But it still didn't help.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing that's the halfway point of loading for GL. (...since I don't have it installed... ) You probably have a object or clothing mesh that is not "compatible" with your game or some type of corrupted mesh.  It's a pain, but you're going to have to sort through all of your downloads and weed out the problem file(s).  :angel:
