help please I really need some body: red water on hot tubs

how come the water on my hottubs turn red the second a sim goes in? it's very anoying to take good looking pictures with this problem, I also see red water on the lakes that I try to build, my pools and everything else is good, it's just the hot tubs and the water terrain, can some one please help me, im begging you, here are pictures, Ps also wend the family is shown the whole field turns red, I dont know what's going on but some one please help me pictures now:

Have you tried updating your DirectX?  

If that doesn't work, then it definitely is your video card, like nova said.  Do you know what type it is?

^^ this happens to me too. most of the time it's red but there are moments, really golden moments that it's blue. very weird

As has been said by others this is your vid card. The red is a sign you either need to update your drivers or it's on its way out and needs to be replaced.

Click on start>run and type in dxdiag and hit enter. If you click on the display tab you'll see what video card you have. Oh, and by the way, if you've had your computer since 2007 then it's probably still pretty new...since it is 2007

In the pics the hot tubs and water look pretty cool. Almost like blood. I wish my game would do that to the showers, tubs, and hot tubs. Lol, kind of.
