Last night I accidentally deleted my entire object collection. I had been downloading since day one. I still have about 100 gigs of clothing, which gives you an idea of how many objects I lost. It's going to take forever to download them again.

I just want some sympathy.

Ouch!... That must've really hurt. I've had similar experience, but since I have a somewhat crappy computer, I *only* lose at most 3 gigs of downloads. And that's nothing compared to you hundreds of gigs.

:oogle:... Wait...  100 gigs of clothes?!  Your downloads folder makes mine look like a byte in comparison.  :shock:

But to loose all of those hard to find objects from the very beginning of the collection must be a doozy to get over.  (I know I still have some objects that are no longer available...)  I'll cry with you, because I know I would break down if it ever happened to me... :bawl:  *passes around Kleenex tissues*

I don't play with that much at one time. I have developed a system for organizing and swapping stuff in and out of game using random tables and charts. It's pretty odd, but it works for me.

I did find a backup I made before I installed Bon Voyage, so it is not as bad as we thought. I lost two months and most sites have their stuff labelled by dates so I can get it all fixed up in a few weeks.

Oh jeez, 100 gigs of files? Wow. Wait, you say that you didn't play with everything all at once. Why..? How do I see how big a downloads file is, and how big it can hold? I think I may have broke mine if there's a limit to how many someone can put in. I DO know that it took about half an hour to back up my game files before I installed SimPE.

There is no limit, but if you put a hundred gigs of custom files in your game, it would take like an hour to launch it.

I'm so terribly sorry! The same happend to me yesterday but I lost all my downloads..... Even from sites that don't exist anymore and donation content I wish you luck in these terrible times

My download is not that heavy, 2.03GB, My don't even take long to start up
My saved sim folder is 254GB is that bad???
