I believe it says "Boggs Hall Dorms", what mod did you download?

The way it works in University is different then in regular hoods.

No matter how many rooms there is a in a dorm, you cannot have more than 8 playable sims living in any dorms unless you have a mod permitting you to have more than that.  Make sure the one you have is compatible with the latest ep you have install.

The extra 4 rooms will be fill in by Ya townies.

MissDoh is right.  The general limit (in the absence of a specific mod or using a cheat) for all lots is 8 playable Sims.  If you have 8 playable Sims on the lot, any empty rooms will be filled by randomly created game-controlled Sims. The lots in the University neighbourhoods are a little weird any way.

Even if they are listed as "secret societies", "dorms", "frat houses", "community" or "residences", they are all really just variations of community lot.  This is why any pregnancy started on a University neighbourhood lot is "on hold" until the Sim returns to the normal neighbourhood associated with the university.  Time passage is also weird on University lots compared to all other lots; the 72 hours per semester clock is always ticking.

The "8 sim limit" can be gotten around, but it isn't really advisable unless you have an out-rageously over-powered system.  The game has enough problems with 8 Sms on a lot, adding more increases the risk considerably for corruption.  Unless it has been corrected by a patch, saving any lot with a sim talking on a phone, but especially a cell phone, will result in some sort of corruption.  if you have 10, 12, 14, or more Sims, you are just increasing your risk that one or more of them will be jabbering on the phone when you save the lot either of your own power or by sending one or more of your Sims to another lot.

You are the only person who can determine the risk-to-benefit for adding more than 8 Sims to a lot. I had serious problems with file corruption doing this even on an above average system.

If you have the BV ep, I don't think any of those have been updated yet.  If you do not have BV then go at MTS2 site and look for Jordi's one but like Beosboxboy said be warned it can make your hood go completely "poof" and destroy it.

Make a back-up prior to installing it so you won't loose everything.  Many are under-estimating the power of some mods toward their hoods unfortunately.

There is the one by Doctor Doofus that is reported to still work with all EPs, even BV.  :angel:
