there could be several issues but first you might want to delete your group.cache file find in the EA games folder. If that doesn't work try back here and we can work through it together.

Make sure you are using the right version of Body Shop. For example if the newestexpansion you have installed is Free Time, start Body Shop from Start - Programs - EA Games - The Sims 2 Free Time - The Sims 2 Body Shop.

You might be using an old version which will cause crashes.

It didn't work ..but I noticed there's another cache file it's called "accessory.cache", do I delete that one too?

Sometimes just defragmenter can help and disk cleanup.It sure helped me.

Yes, that's also a file you should delete, along with the cigen.package file.  Those three files are easily corrupted, so deleting them does you a big favor in trying to figure out why the game/Bodyshop won't start.  

If deleting those files doesn't help, then try moving out your SavedSims folder from you main Sims 2 directory and onto your desktop and see if it'll run.  You may have a corrupt sim in there if that's the case.

Did you try taking out any recent custom content that you've added since the last time you were able to open Bodyshop?  Might help... :dontknow:

Yep, I took out the whole download folder and it still didn't work.Thanks [again] though! (lol). I think I'm gonna have to reinstall the game again...on second thought, nevermind! body shop isn't worth the trouble.

Hmmm, have you recently installed a new EP or the Patch? If a new EP, then try going to the start menu and select that EP and and the bodyshop fromt here. If that doesn't work, browse to your EA games folder and take out the Saved Sims folder, your Downloads folder and the projects folder. Then try running it that way. If none of this helps then maybe you do want to re-install because if BS is crashing the game may crash too. Mine does in CAS, but not BS. Why I have no idea and I just try not to use CAS much.

Well, if your game is working fine,  Bodyshop refuses to work, and you feel like living without it, I guess that's a "simple" solution.  But one more thing, and I'll probably be stumped... did you delete the file that says "ContentRegistry" in it?  A long shot, but I'm drawing a slight blank on what else to do.  :smile bi:
