EKozski:
I'm trying to figure out how in the heck to make a different backround using Sims.

I know it involves layers, copying and pasting. After that I'm clueless.

I've got a backround I want to use, but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get my Sims on it.

I'm totally new to this, so...........HELP!

Thank you.

ancienthighway:
I'd try mimicing the greenscreen technique.  Pick some color that isn't used on the sim, like maybe those purple paints, and build a wall that color.  Pose your sim against the wall and take your picture.

In you paint program, you can then select the background color and make it transparent.  Save that file.

Open up another image with what you want for the background, e.g. Pyramids or whatever.  Add a layer and copy your sim with the transparent background to it.  Position and save.

J00wish:
I've found a few tutorials to play with (I usually use the first way):

One

Two

Three

EKozski:
Thank you J00wish/Just Call Me Odessa, Ma'am.

You too Ancient.

CB2001:
I would think using this would be a good means of "green screening".  I came across a solid neon green wallpaper for build mode, but I can't seem to find the place where I downloaded it from (I think it was at ModTheSims2.com, but I can't seem to find it there).
