I dunno why, but its not letting me click on the phone at all in my apartment. any ideas why and how to fix it?

Any CC that may be blocking it?  There's a lot of custom meshes that were carelessly done and left way oversize for the object that can block other items when you try to interact with them.

Try forcing an error on the phone.  It may have been left in the used state which would prevent you from using it.  boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, shift-click the phone, force error.  Set the cheats back to false if you want.

It is a phone that i just bought and tried to use. I can use the phone just fine when living in a home, but for some reason i can't when living in an apartment.

Is it a custom phone?  They may not be set up right for AL.  Oh, is the phone in the apartment or in space considered common area?  The floor strips from Pets will block off the space as being common area.

hmmmm I moved it to the upstairs of my apartment and it works now...odd the downstairs is part of the apartment too it should of worked...o well thank you so much for solving my problem

I've noted too that if there is a big sound from neighbor apartment on the phone wall the phone cannot be used too.

That would be because of the noise emitter that's place on the floor under the phone.  Put an end table with a desk phone in rather than the wall phone.

When every I click on a phone (no cc) or cell phone (on Sim). My Sims reset and lose their tasks. Its now to the point that clicking on anything resets the Sim but it all started with the phone?

remove all the phones from the lot...cell phones too..and rebuy them.  I had that happen once, and that fixed it.

I get the error and I delete them, but I rebuy them and It still does it.

EDITForget that, phone works now, found out that a hack for teens with a phone in it was conflicting with it.

If you use Delphys Download Organizer the file is unknown, not a hack but this is the package code:

I had used a hack conflict finder and it listed this one as "phone" some where in the text is stated something about it conflicted with "Risky Teen Sneek out"

I don't remember everything I download, Sorry.
