241  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Question about 'Projects' -folder on: March 10, 2008, 11:36:52 am
Hi, all! I have been converting a lot of clothes, since I discovered the FitChick bodytype but my Projects -folder is getting quite large. Now, I have question for all of you who create clothing, etc... What do you do when your Project -folder is about to tear from it's seams? Is possible to empty it, without losing the created clothes from the game or to transfer them or the save them on disc? And why is there also files in the Projects -folder, not just the clothes -folders? Thank you for anyone who can help me.

I might. I'm not sure, though. I wonder if it's true, that most of MATY's hacks won't work anymore. This was said by someone who has already played the new EP. It sounded pretty discouraging, thought I guess its kind a normal before everything gets updated. He said that it has a lot of bugs, as well. :Huh?:
243  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / A commune living - possible? on: February 27, 2008, 06:21:14 pm
Hi! Could someone tell me if it's possible for sims to live in dorm style commune in a normal neighbourhood? Everyone having their own aparments but being unplayable, except for the sim you're playing with. Just like in the university neighborhood. Thanks.
244  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Cat ears looking funny on: February 23, 2008, 06:15:10 am
Yeah, I can see what you mean. It's funny that they put few words there in English and the rest in Japanese. It doesn't make sense. It would have been better to have the text fully in English or with both languages. I guess it's said a little bit better in the bunny ears download page, for example, but I didn't dare to make an assumption that it applied to every accessory and I really don't think that it does. I mean, how could it? It's the exact same "2/14 recol_package I revised it. Please do download again" on almost every accessory page and there's only 9 cat ear files, not 14. So confusing. Cheesy

Oh, okay. Hmm, the red text was already there, when I downloaded the ears, so maybe they should've done even more corrections. Nothing else in my game looks funny, so the problem is still in them. Oh well, I hope they fix them soon, because those ears are adorable. Thank you for your help. :daisy:

Okay, I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this question but I hope it is. Anyway, there's a lovely looking cat ears at the 'Dedital Sheep Power' but they - after putting them into my game - looked somewhat funny, like little bit unfinished. Now there's a "attention" text in the bottom of the page but since it's Chinese or Japanese or something, I have no idea what it means. Does anyone know what that text means or is there just a bad mesh or similar with the ears in general?

Oh, thank you so much for this! :wav: They are beautiful and will give that special touch for my sims kitchens. No more blank tables. I love the two extra colors as well. The purple one especially looks wonderful. Thank you again. You have made me very happy. :daisy:
250  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / A strange file? on: February 20, 2008, 04:27:36 am
Oh yes, the file size matched perfectly and now I have found even more of those darn files. The funny thing is that I always use Clean Installer to put sims into my game but never have noticed those files in there. Hmm, I think it's time to get glasses. Cheesy Oh well, one problem solved.
251  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / A strange file? on: February 19, 2008, 07:46:25 pm
Well, reading about that bug was actually the thing that got me do the whole spring cleaning in the first place. I found around 500 odd files but this one was the only one that was marked as "replacement". I don't have simPE, so can't check it out that way and that's why I was curious if anyone else have this particular file. I really didn't want to throw it away without knowing what it is first.

Edit: Darn. I read the tread again, just to be sure, and someone also found same kind of file type, even if not with the same code. I don't know how I missed that at the first time. I guess I just have to believe that my file is one of those junk files and toss it in the trash.
252  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / A strange file? on: February 19, 2008, 10:31:06 am
I hope this is the right place to ask this. Okay, so, I did a complete spring cleaning to my downloads folder and as I was going through the nameless files - the ones that have only a long string of numbers - I found a strange file. The Delphy's download organizer says the file type is "Replacement" but I have no idea what kind. It's file size is 6,64 MT. All my defaults and such are in their own folders, so it's not something that I have knowingly downloaded. Here's the file name(numbers):

dc0fd099af47c9493646a778dd7e3c

I know that this is a long shot but if anyone recognizes this file and tells me what unearth it is, I would be very grateful. Thank you. :h3lp:

I have no idea why this is the case, but if you also download the mesh in this thread (it's in the middle of the downloads) http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=221546 the hat won't appear. I discovered this when I accidentally had both installed when I first used Bloom's. It doesn't seem to cause any other problems having them both in the game, but it seems like you might like the side effect Smiley

Well, it's certainly the first time that I'm grateful for side effects. Thanks for letting me know about it. I'm going to go and dowload that mesh right away. :daisy:
