All right, so I just got a link to Yuppie Sims. It tells me there are free downloads but I have to sign in. But the only thing I can get is the Login page. I can't seem to find the page where I actually sign up for the site or do I have to pay to be able to download anything?

If any of you have downloaded the Prescott Nursery with the toddler bed (half crib / half bed), have any of you been having problems with it?

Every time someone puts him in his bed or he goes to bed on his own, he falls on the bed asleep but immediately wakes up and keeps going through the same motion or he leaves his bed. He can't sleep in it. I'm always having to use the crib. The first question I have is: why this is happening?

I tried to ask the creator about it in the place its from, but didn't get a response.

The second question is: are there other toddler beds that you guys know of that look like the Prescott Nursery beds and that are functional because they are really cool?

So, I was wondering... Since I can transfer things from my PC to my Mac and vice - versa by disc - can I do the same with downloads if I keep them in the initial WinRar file or what ever file they come in (from Mac to PC) and then just download them onto my PC?

So, let me start off by telling you I have a ton of CC clothing (some are outfits that go from teen to elder) and I have the Insimenator installed, so I have the ability to buy clothing on the Sims' residential lot.

The other day, I was trying to buy some clothing for Goth and when I found some clothing (that I assumed was the clothing I downloaded for all ages), I bought them all. And yes, I am for sure it was in the elder category. Well, when I had him "Plan Outfit", I found that none of those clothes were added to his closet - only two things out of the eight or nine I got for him. So, how do I get these extra items that work for the adult out of the elder category if they obviously can't be bought (One polo seems to work that is usually for adult - so why don't the other clothes)? Do I have to go through each item - maybe buy all of them and see which ones work and go into Sim PE?

I have just discovered Sims 2 Apartment Life. Let me ask, is it worth it? I heard that some hacks / mods don't work with it. Is that true? I hope not, considering I have a ton of them, including Insimenator and Inteenimator.

I have the base game (of course), Nightlife, University, and OFB. I was hoping to get Pets in next. Where does Apartment Life fit in? Is it an actual expansion like "Nightlife" or is it just an extra like "Glamour Stuff"? Is it really all that? I have thousands and thousands of CC downloads, and I build tons of my own residential and business buildings (including my own apartments and flats) and don't know if I really want it or need it unless there's something astronomical about it. The furniture is kind of cool, but like I said, I use CC downloads more than the Maxis furniture. Is there something more to it - maybe that affect the Sims?

Also, I was kinda wondering - I have looked all over for a list of Sims 2 games in order of what needs to be downloaded first, second, third, etc. Does it matter what goes where and when? If so, please let me know (I do believe it did matter with the first Sims game and I did that in order). I am pretty sure the expansions do matter but the extras (like "Glamour" and "Fashion") don't matter. Am I far off?

I have tried looking for help with this in the F.A.Q. but failed to find it if it's there.

My menu keeps disappearing. I know I'm hitting something accidentally on my keyboard to make it disappear, but I'm not sure what key I hit to get it back!

I tried looking in the Sims 2 booklet, even, thinking it might show up in simple cheats.

Someone know what to do?

I've always been curious as to what the difference is between a Mod, a Hack, and a Global Mod, and a Global Hack.

At first, I thought a Mod was something that altered the entire game, like Closer Family, or the Inteenimator, and that a Hack was something that altered the way an object was used, like the Sinful Shower.

But now I'm finding what people call Hacks can also be very game altering like mods and vice versa: mods can be very similar to what I believed was a Hack (Alarm Clocks on Tables [Mod]).

Then, now there are what are called Global Mods, and Global Hacks?

I'm just curious - are the Globals what alter the way the game is played and the regular mods / hacks really the same thing that just affect individual things, such as moods and objects?

Someone help me be able to go "out of bounds" when building. I know I've been able to do with fencing outside the boundaries of the property before, but I don't know what I did. I see, too, that others are able to do it.

I thought it was "move_objects on" but its not.

Any suggestions?

Okay, so my little boy toddler grew up into a female child! This is something new... why did this happen?

Can anyone tell me if there are certain mods, hacks, or cheats that have any bearing on being able to place doors and windows on diagonal walls?

I used to be able to place them that way automatically when I got near a wall with a door or window now I can't. And of course the cheat 45 degree angle doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Okay, so I couldn't find this anywhere. If this was posted somewhere else, I apologize.

Problem 1: Flashing Red and Black:

In my Pleasantview downtown view, certain lots will start to disappear, only the roof will show. Specific ones will flash red and black. Certain and random lots will be blackened when I flip through the lots catalog.

What I have done:

1) Taken out all CC downloads incl. Downloads / Collections / Saved Sims (just in case)
Result ~ Still flashing red and black

2) Took out Lot Catalog
Result ~ Lots were normal - but how come those downloaded lots were still showing up if I took them out?  

Questions before doing anything:
So, its got to be the downloaded lots, then?
If I rid of these specific lots, will I also rid of the CC that came with them or is that CC safe because its already downloaded?
I still have this CC in my Teleport folder. Not lots, but things that came with them, I'm sure. I haven't downloaded lots for a half a year. Should CC still be in this folder or could that be the problem child?

Problem 2: Blackened Buy - Build - Game Opts

When I am in a lot and I have been it for awhile, certain CC starts to blacken, especially if i switch back in forth between buy, build, and game options. Then if I hit something that will prompt instruction or words (like save), I can't read what it says. The letters become unreadable little blue blocks or shapes. It game itself becomes unplayable. I have to either let it breath, or I have to quit and reboot. But then it just does the same thing all over again.

What I have done:

1) Removed all CC downloads

2) Played with a family I had never played before in a neighbourhood I never play in. Built and bought things for the house, waited to see if the game would do the same thing (in increments of 20 minutes), and played around with flipping through catalogs in different categories. Slowly added more CC and repeated this.

Questions before doing more of this[/I]:
Am I doing the right thing? Could this be a CC problem if items on my screen including the tool bar blackens (sometimes my whole tool bar so I can't see what tab I'm hitting), and if words aren't even readable or is this something completely different (because removing CC has seemed to help)? Can bad CC really effect the entire screen and tool bar like that?

Pleasantview has been giving me an increasing amount of problems. About a year ago, I had problems with Sims interacting. A couple of Sims could interact with others but others couldn't respond to them at all. I had to get rid of them. Now, the flashing lots in Pleasantview's downtown is starting to happen. What in the world could this be? Could it be some kind of bug in Pleasantview? I'm not going to have to just void this neighbourhood altogether, am I?

Has anyone else had problems with just one neighbourhood?

I got this awesome school mod; unfortunately, I can't think of who from right now. This school mod included class tables, pupil tokens, class controllers, school bell, the option for home school. Basically, it gave players the option to create their own schools. The same creator made other institutions like prisons and stuff. If someone knows who this is, or what I'm talking about... I need HHEELLLLPPP!!! Since I downloaded this, there is NO bus that picks up the kids for school. Single children that can't drive yet won't go and parents with cars can't even take them! How on earth can I fix this... if it IS fixable, without cheating their grades and having them stay at home everyday, all day long. I don't want to have all boarding schools in my towns where they stay all day and night long. PLEASE, someone help me out.
