Baby Steps - Chapter One - Introduction


Hi everyone. My name is Isela Sanchez, and I want to tell you my story. I am 17 years old and I live in the "friendly" town of Pleasantview. I guess you could say my life is pretty average. Well, maybe a little more than that. My mother died in a car crash about two years ago, so now my younger sister and I live with my older sister and her family in a three bedroom trailer in the low class side of town. It's not exactly what I would call the dream life, but at least I have a house. I do pretty good in the local high school, mostly getting A's and B's. Not really much happening with the social part of school though. I used to have a couple of best friends, but when my mom died they decided they were too good for me and moved on. So whatever, you know, I just go with the flow. I do have a really big secret though. Okay well it's not really a secret. I'm expecting a baby sometime in August. Yeah, I know what you all are thinking. Total screwup right? Well it all started when I met this guy named Dirk Dreamer. His dad is like super rich and stuff, so when he talked to me I was totally surprised. Eventually he asked me out and I said yes. We dated for awhile and things got pretty serious. I always thought that me and him would last forever, no matter what. And then a little thing called reality came and smashed my dreams. Once he found out about the baby he told me that he wanted nothing to do with either of us. Truthfully, that broke my heart. But being the stubborn person I am, I pretended I didn't care. Haven't heard from him in a while, and I probably won't ever again. At least my family is willing to help me. I think that there is a tiny chance it will be alright.


This is my little sister, Ciera. She is 12. She is a pretty good little sister if you ask me. She goes to the local junior high, but she doesn't have any friends because she is extremely shy. She mostly sticks with me wherever we go and keeps to herself. Her dream in life is to become a veternarian, she absolutely adores animals. I think I am going to get her a puppy for Christmas this year, she would like that. Anyways, I am glad I have her around, she always makes me feel better. It nice because she is old enough to be able to have a serious conversation with me, and young enough to still talk about fun stuff. I don't like adults too much, they are so boring. She is fun to be around and we have a great time together.


This is my big sister Vanessa. She just turned 22 this week. She is the best big sister ever. Apart from the fact that she lets us live with her, she always has a positive attitude and is always pushing me to do better. I really look up to her actually. She has had a pretty hard life. She had her first baby when she was 15, and she dropped out of high school. But since then she went back to school and is even taking some college classes. We don't have a lot of money, but she works hard to get us what we have.


Here is my niece Alyssa. She is 7 now. She is pretty funny. Because she was the first baby, she is usually kinda pushed aside by her parents, so I am the one that hangs out with her. She keeps me entertained though. She is always in my room telling me some story she made up, or some weird fact she learned in class. She loves school, that's one thing you will never take away from her. She is always excited to go to school, and always has a million stories when she gets home. I like having her around.


And this would be my sisters boyfriend, James, and my two year old niece, Anhelica. I don't really like James too much. Not because he is a bad person, he is nice and all and he is a good father, but mostly because he thinks I'm stupid. Once I heard him tell Vanessa that I should just go to some boarding school where I can't get in trouble. But I guess he is better than a lot of guys my sister could have dated. Anhelica is just the cutest little person. She is very smart, and always surprises me with the things she does. Although, it is hard when she gets all the attention. But I guess I can't really compete with a two year old.

So that is my family. And in the following chapters I will tell you my family's story, the good times and the bad.

Introduction

Hello, my name is Channy Johnson. I am 16 years old and I live in Willow Creek, California. I have a pretty avarage life, you know school, friends, makeup, boys. That's pretty much what every teenage girl is about, right? Anyways, I attend Willow Creek High and I'm in 11th grade. So there's only like one more year after this. Oh yeah, and I love the word like, it's like amazing! I'm a pretty easy going girl, and I guess you could say I'm smart. My major goal is to graduate high school and find a nice guy. Nothing can get in the way of that.

This is my amazing mom, Linda. I love her so much, she is the best! She is like the cool mom in my neighborhood, it's awesome. My dad left us when I was 7, so she is always trying to make sure that we are happy all the time now. I can talk to her about anything and she is never ir...ir....irrational. Wow that's a hard word. Anyways, she is so cool and I'm glad she is my mom.

Here is my little sis, Tiffany. She is 11 and in 6th grade. She is so funny, she is always cracking me up. A lot of my friends hate their little siblings, but I don't think I could live without her. She loves to dance, it's pretty much  her life. She is pretty shy when she is around new people, or if some kind of family drama is going on. She pretends she knows nothing and isn't listening, even though she knows a lot more than you would think. But when she is comfortable with her surroundings, she never shuts up.

Hi. I have heard that you can have a new years party, but the option is never on the party list on the phone. A friend says you can only throw one in winter, is that true?? Also what makes it different than other parties? Oh yeah and is a sports party any different than a house party? I threw one and nobody even watched the game, it was no different??

Hello. So my sims are having a wedding and I went to pronup sims to get some dresses. I made sure I had every mesh for every dress and that I didn't put them into any sub-folders. It still won't work!! I went into my game and went to buy clothing and all that showed up was the meshes, which were like poofy versions of the maxis dresses. Why isn't it working!? If anyone knows please reply asap!! Thanks. =)

Hello everybody, today I bring you 230 Wright Way. It is a beautiful 2 story house that is set atop a hill. The yard is partially landscaped and is set on different levels of ground. The home features 2 regular bedrooms plus a master suite, so 3 in all. And 2 bathrooms. It also has a living room with a great view, a spacious kitchen, dining room, and entertainment room. There is a lot of yard space in the front and the back, and the backyard features a lovely pond. There is 2 driveways in front of the house. The house is unfurnished and all content is Maxis, except the fence that goes around the very bottom backyard.

Hello. Can your sim family own more than one vacation home, like they can own more than one business??

Hello! Okay so I love taking pictures of my sim family and writing cute captions in the storytelling album. But today, I have a problem! WHen I go into the album I can see all of the pictures that I haven't put into the line of photo's with captions on the right side. I can also see the right side column of photo's with the captions. But when I click on a captioned photo and it is normally supposed to get bigger and go into the album where you can write stuff, but I can only see the caption and no picture!! I noticed this happened after I set the picture quality on high, so I changed it back and even exited and restarted the game. Nothing worked. Please help me fix this!! Thanks. =)

Hello! Today I have a spacious family home for you requested by Remsin. This beautiful house is well designed and has plenty of space for your sims to live a very comfortable life. Consisting of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there is room to accommodate all of your sims. A nice entry and living room has a hallway leading to the kitchen, dining area, family room, and a bathroom. Off of the hallway is the master bedroom, master bath, and a room that can be used as a bedroom, playroom, or an office. Upstairs are three large bedrooms and a bathroom. Also there is a nice balcony upstairs and a porch off of the dining area downstairs. The house is partly furnished, the bedrooms, bathrooms, and spare room are empty for you to decorate to your taste. I hope you and your sims enjoy this house. =)

A beautiful contemporary family home for your sims. There are lots of elegant windows and doors throughout the home. The bottom floor has an open kitchen, dining room, and living room. Off of the kitchen is a bathroom/laundry room and a guest bedroom. Stairs lead up to the second floor which contains a bathroom, master bedroom, and two boys rooms. A few CC items are included. This house requires UNI, NL, OFB, Seasons, and BV.

Hello. Okay so I want to put up a story here on imsimenator.net, but obviously i need pictures for that. So I took some pictures and then exited out of the sims 2 and went to the storytelling folders and.......no pictures!!! I could only find the most recent one taken called snapshot.bmp and that's it i looked at everything in the storytelling folder and I can't find them. Oh I have mac osx version 10.4.11 and i have OFB, seasons, and BV. Please help!!

Hello. Okay you know when you click on the mailbox and all the cheat options come up and theres one that says make all happy. Well I was wondering, if I own a business and I'm on my business lot and I do that cheat, will it make all my employees happy too or just my family?? Please help!?!!

Hello. I just got the Bon Voyage ep and now some of my sims heads are turning dark. By heads I mean like when you click on something and the head pops up with all the options. Also the little thumbnail pictures that you click on to control that sim. Its like they are all in shadows. How do I fix it??

Okay so I click on the sim and choose "give cellphone" but then when I click on the sim again nothing shows up. How do I get them to have a cellphone and be able to use it?

Alright so I fixed the CC problem I had in my previous post, but now I have a new problem. When I call a shuttle to go on vacation, it pulls up to my house and then pulls away without even stopping. I'm not sure how to fix this because at this point in time my sims can't leave the house. Can someone please help??  :angryfir:
