31  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: WCIF these two hairs on: September 17, 2011, 01:32:43 pm
Just as a reminder from the WCIF Guideline sticky (mentioned right above the "Added for Emphasis" bold print near the bottom of the first post, if you're going to provide a link to a paysite file, you must provide a booty link to go with it, and vise-versa... otherwise any links from either by themselves will be removed from your post. It's only fair. Smiley
32  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: WCIF This long hair green/blue hair on: September 17, 2011, 06:03:10 am
Ugh sorry, was asking if a Mod can change the "Thise" to a "This"

Just so you'll know, you can also modify the title whenever you choose to modify your post. Just look above the text window while in the "Reply Edit" mode and look at the "Subject" line in the top. It's an easy fix if you'd like to try for yourself. Wink

(Of course, it's not going to change in any replies unless the posters so choose to edit their posted replies. No worries, though, since everyone is only concerned about the main title of the thread anyways.) Grin

More than likely what you're looking for is at Sims2Graveyard.  They don't have preview pictures of the compressed files, though, and it will require some experimentation to see which recolors go to which meshes...but I do believe everything from the site is there.   Wink
34  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: WCIF two female hair on: September 05, 2011, 09:19:14 am
That second hair is a Helga hair.  It can be found at Black Pearl Sims (Although I'd suggest you have Firefox + ABP enabled before using any of the Sendspace links... the downloads work, but not without attempts of ad spam. There's a safer alternative for downloading the mesh with different recolors here.)

No, you're absolutely right about that, ancienthighway.  Thanks for that heads up. Smiley  It's been a long time since I've actually used ACR, but it does in fact include that option now that I've re-read the documentation. Tongue Just never really put many of its features into action while I had it, but now that I know I might either redownload 1.0 or test the V2.0 Beta 5c out and see what's new.

Wink http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,16106.0.html

There is no "first woohoo" enabler hack that I know of (and if there really is I'd also like to know where it is since I'm slowly getting back into practicing "dramatic" shots with poses and all)... but Squinge definitely had the first kiss one.  Very useful posing if used in conjunction with his "no hearts on first kiss" mod, but then again the hearts do put a little outrageous cuteness in it.  Smiley

I'm really sorry to hear about all of that happening, Skye.   Cry  It's scary the things people think up for thrills, and the thought of someone close suffering from the dreadful consequences of those thrills is even scarier.  I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayers that he'll pull through.
38  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: WCIF The hack where you can make a sim's eyes move around? on: August 09, 2011, 09:17:06 am
No, it's not that one I'm thinking about, although I've got that one, too. It's a black animation box with three white dots. It has face overlays among other things, and all the animations are cancelable in the queue, unlike Decorgal's box. I think it might be a version of the hidden ingame box (named paul-something).

Sounds a little bit like this one:  The Sims 2 Machinima Production Tool by ceedj

Just one more thing to add on to what Joy said... can you also edit your title so that it's not just "WCIF" as requested in the guideline sticky of this forum?  Would do everyone who may also be looking for what you are a bit more justice, and also bring more to want to help you out if they know right away from the title what you're looking for.  Wink

Here you go, Jinx. Just scroll down to the bottom of the post, and you'll find what you need.  Wink
42  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: Where can I find a slit mouth? on: June 29, 2011, 05:21:40 pm
It's really real as a singular costume makeup... but seemingly unavailable from what I can tell.  The makeup was mentioned in the Director's Commentary of that short film promoted in the teaser clip.  (skip to 4:35 or press 5 once the video is fully loaded.) I have no idea where to find it for sure, though, since I've checked all over the web at one point for the creator's item that was mentioned, not to mention Sims99 is no longer with us... (shame, because that was one of my first and favorite Sims 2 lurking spots that I frequented years ago...) Sad  I'm guessing it was a personal request made strictly for DavieD123 .
43  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: TS2 and Windows 7 on: June 28, 2011, 09:37:19 pm
yeah u have to go thru program files (x86) on win 7 & what i had to do was create a downloads folder & put it in the apartment life folder to get the custom content to show up, but i've looked thru every sims related file or folder in my program files (x86) folder, & there is no music folder anywhere, there's a sound folder but i've tried putting my old sims music folder in 2 different places now  (apartment life folder & sound folder) within the program files (x86)/ea games path & nowhere at all seems to make the music show up in my game & it's drivin me nuts *sigh*
It's basically the same format for XP... have you checked under your My Documents folder instead of the Program Files (x86)/EA Games one?  Because that's where you should be looking, and where all custom MP3/Music files should be placed if you want them heard in-game. Wink  You should have the Music file where you can put your own custom MP3s in the folders in the following location:

C:\Users\*Your Username*\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Music

In that folder should be subfolders for each station/mode.

If it's not there, you may want to double check and see if everything is really installed correctly... that's a folder that always shows up after installation, with or without custom content.  Smiley

Also, just as a Moderation Note, please be sure to help us with poor eyesight by using capitals letters at the beginning of sentences.  I'll be honest, I can't read words on the screen very well without knowing for sure where each sentence begins, and the capital letters let me know for sure where those beginnings are, so I kind of had trouble understanding at first what you had already tried out.  That, and it is a rule (7th line down) that helps both the English and Non-English comprehending posters and readers out for clarity.
