Free will is ON. They have more "personality" with it on. However I tend to use the pause button a heck of a lot. However sometimes if I don't know what I feel like making them do I let them choose for me! (unless its REALLY stupid then I stop them hehe )

Bah, playing the game by the rules is boring anyways.

I seem to always end up using some form of "cheat" Even with my challenge hood, I give myself the freedom to cheat for certain things. But if I give myself permission then I am not cheating since I am making my own rules.

I figure as long  as I am having fun and no one is getting hurt (cept the sims ) then it really just becomes my style of gaming.

I think what I hate the most is when 3-4 sims get bottlenecked in a doorway and they are doing their darned best to get out of this “crazy maze” but all they can think of doing is taking a step and stomping angrily like morons over and over again… makes me so mad I just get them to teleport. Hehe.

I always have 2 neighborhoods going. 1 is the normal hood, the other is a medieval hood/challenge hood. I found a challenge called “the end of the world” a while back and have modified it a bit to fit the medieval theme. I have 2 download folders that I switch around from the modern stuff to the medieval stuff depending on what I want to play that day I had them all combined at first but then it just got too confusing and the loading time was atrocious.

When I play my normal hood I always give my sims stories in my head and give them skills accordingly with the Skills adjustor (insimenator). So the adult I create never had to spend time “catching up” on skills from the childhood they never really “lived”. Sometimes I use motherlode if I feel like making them a nice house. Otherwise I just go with what they got.

After this I spend my time growing up their kids and trying to make interesting genetic combinations just to see what they look like I always tend to make black skinned families, Orientals, blonds, red heads etc and mix have their kids grow up and fall in love with each other to see what they will look like. Of course I always have some loners who become aliens or vampires etc as well and a few infamous romance sims to keep things interesting.

And as far as the challenge I do similar things except with the added bonus of the challenge hence no cheating (at least not as much, I will still sometimes change a sims personality traits and things like that). I really like the medieval theme since witches came along mind you 

Just to clarify this compatibility thing.  I have been kinda out of the loop with sims for several months now and just getting back into the groove....

If I have AL and M&G, can I still install this mod? Or are all the M&G mods not going to be compatible with AL? And the AL versions of mods not compatible with M&G?

Apparently justsims2.ru was down because they had been hacked.

I had sent them an email a lil while ago asking them what was going on and they responded to me a couple days ago saying this.

Was it one of those "Baby think it over" with the neck that could break? They made us care for those back in high school when we were about 14-15 years old. If you would have held it like that back then I would have freaked out on you as the neck breaking was an automatic FAIL. lol (me: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?! you: iunno thats how the sims do it)

Hey everyone,

I know I’m a little late in getting into the business thing in Sims 2 but I have never been that good at it.

One issue I have always had, if anyone can enlighten me on why this happens to me, when I hire employees and let them go on a break they never come back without my sim having to yell at them to get back to work. This is even though I use insimenator to max all their moods and pay them the highest wage, I also always make best friends with them. I think that is what has always stopped me from going to a community business lot (I have always played home biz lots so far).

Anyways, my question is pretty simple, to all you other simmers who have run successful businesses, what kinds of tips can you give me. Also if someone wrote a nice little tutorial about it that would help too (I was searching google for a good biz tutorial without any luck except I’m sure they are out there).

How long has this been a problem for you?
Maybe they are going through site difficulties and will come back up at a later date? Your guess is as good as mine.
