Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / game challange

Yes... the toiledlers... I hate those annoying sim babies, because my sims are obsessed with the "hold baby" interaction and do it at the expense of every single one of their own motives... if I don't tell them to put the freaking baby down, they never put it down, and just stand there holding it forever like some sort of idiot!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Sim Romance and Changes
|

Hi everyone, I saw this excellent guide to sim romance here; while, this answered a lot of my curiosities and questions. There are still questions I have regarding if you change things with sims' personalities? If you change a sim's sign, will it's compatibility change? If it does, does it matter whether the personality points match that sign? (you can just change the sign with Insim for example) Same with aspiration; if they change aspiration will the compatibility change? *what I mean by "change" is... well, if you look at the compatibility chart, different signs are more attracted or not attracted to other signs; so for example Libra doesn't like Pisces and Sagittarius does, so if I change the sim's sign from Libra to Sagittarius, will it like Pisces or still not like Pisces.

Sounds cool, but I think there'd be too much controversy for them to even think of pursuing (various religious groups and all the good stuff).
Aquatic sounds interesting, but it would be better if there was an actual difference between sims and mersims besides appearance and living on land or water; I guess they could have a water motive like plantsims or something like that. There would also have a area of intersection; they have to be able to communicate somehow and possibly even marry and cohabitate - the underwater breathing stuff would suffice, and probably water breathing stuff for the mersims...

I think he/she means currently. For example, I'm currently not playing and haven't for a while (about six months), but I came her initially for downloads of course, and just ended up staying whether I'm playing or not.

I'm not sure I'd reconsider them even if they had all the things in the game that I want... I doubt I'll ever go near anymore of their products.
They need to get kicked off their golden asses and smell the burning secorum.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / 'Securom isn't bad' according to Maxis

I have BV, but never installed it. Does that mean that you have to be connected to the internet just to play the game too? Cause you didn't used to have to be connected. I'm not really computer savvy at all (which may already be obvious), but I don't get what's the point of checking the registry each time you launch the game. Shouldn't once be enough? I mean is the cd suddenly going to change into a counterfeit one?
I have to say that he's a good answerer... his answers might not be correct or even complete, but he most have taken some lessons on rhetoric or something. Still, which people continually sending messages that it's messed up their computers and stuff, I don't think any amount of persuasive argument and really argue against that! He's in a no-win situation, because we can all see it so manifest right before our eyes, no matter what words he conjures up. Regret that I bought it, but glad I never installed it...
Anyway, I'd hate to have his job... hell, I'd probably just say to hell, with it and quit, instead of even trying to explain some shady stuff going on...
