Sorry, last time I was on a horse was about fifteen years ago or so. Not an easy one to control, as I recall, but I did get her trust in the end and was successful in riding her. The stable lady said no one had gotten one hundred yards on that animal without being brushed off or tossed for months and asked how I did it. All I did was stroke her neck and scratch under her mane. Told her she was a nice girl and could I please have a pleasant ride. She was my regular mount the whole time I was there.

Now, THAT'S a Happy Ending. Thank you very much!

I'm out to watch my sister and her boyfriend play poker tonight! I'm my sisters luck according to her.

Well the snow is here, and so is the wind. LOL. Right now it's so windy it's snowing sideways.

We're always hit by massive wind storms during this time of year and this year is no exception. I'm visiting my mother this weekend and it's so windy it's rattling the house and shaking the windows.

It's supposed to be colder than normal this year and I'm just glad I'm not flying anywhere. My mom and I were stuck in various airports across Canada two years ago (we had a coast to coast white Christmas - something that never happens in a country this big) for almost two weeks trying to visit my sister in Nova Scotia. It turned a three week holiday into a few days. We arrived on Christmas Eve.

Oops. Something just fell over in the neighbor's yard. You'd think they'd have learned to bring everything not firmly nailed down indoors.

I want to see snow.. Maybe I should put that on my bucket list..
