Thanks alot eliena.  I really love this family and will hate to see them pass on.  I just love to put them with their grandkids and the kids come by for a visit.  I not gonna think about letting them go just yet, but they will be in a good place when that time come. *cry softly*

I am bumping this thread up! I pics of the Oldies I wanted to share.

On a wintery day, Herb was playing with his adopted son Ira. They had a snow day.


He wasn't feeling well, so he sat down and Ira joined him.


Maybe if he laid down, he would feel better, but it was to no avail, for death came for him.



Coral and Ira were heartbroken. They wanted Herb to stay with them.


Coral just stares out the window now, remembering... vowing never to forget!




He said good-bye and now Coral must live for her son. He will be a teen soon, and he needs her guidence thru this hard time.


While Ira's in school, Coral talks to her plants.

Heheh... I know I would if I actually let my sims age.  :lol:  I'm so caught up in taking pictures/doing contests/etc. to actually want them to get older sometimes.  :evil4:

I know that losing a sim is hard, no matter how long you have played their life, or how often you play their household.  I get teary, especially when the family is around with them and they are crying.  What got me, Ira just bawled his little eyes out. Coral just consoled him and went to the window and looked out with this blank look on her face.  That got me so bad, that I thought about bring him back. :cry:
I really need to let some of my elders die, mainly because I have so many character files in my game, 1009 to be exact.  What I need to know, can I delete the characters that are objects, like my tour guides and charlatans that are listed as objects, I have like 55 of them.  The ones listed as persons are 3 each, so I figured I could just keep those.
